  1. First peson is such a stupid move. Like actually kills this for me. When i heard this was coming out i was so ecited, but im not playing this. Idk who thought it was a good idea but this looks so shitty. Like what, its first person cause the comany making couldnt be botthered to do something new for them? Like they really had to do first person? What a joke

  2. I lost all interest in this game when I saw the girl-boss say to Indy "Let's see if you can keep up". I won't be surprised if you spend half the game playing as her instead of Indy.

  3. Indiana Jones Emperor's Tomb was the last great Indy game, but for some strange reason all these Youtubers ignore it. Maybe because it's 20 years old? But they still mention 20+ year old Nintendo games, so I don't know why the bias against a great game.

  4. I was so scared how this game was going to look. I’m beyond excited (biased as a massive Indy fan) and haven’t been this pumped for a game since halo 3. It’s obvious from what they’ve shown that they understand the assignment

  5. Been waiting for a great indy game. Played too many over the years. The iconic temple of doom game. The fate of Atlantis had a great story. Still need to go back to the staff of kings. But I don't want to many tomb raider puzzles. The generic put the cogs together trope looked very dated. Still very hopeful. If the Devs can be as inspired as remnant or tunic they could pull of a classic.

  6. I was hyped about this game until I saw that it's first person. Hopefully, they'll make a third-person view option like in Fallout 4. Unfortunately, I can't play FP games. Also, I hope there's not too many puzzles, just a nice balance. Graphics look good.

  7. Bait 'n' Switch. For half of the game, you don't play as Indy. Watch the trailer and one of the dev's tells you about the main female protagonist, just like the latest
movie (That Bombed). Imagine buying a Tomb Raider game, were you only play as Lara Croft 50% of the time!

  8. I like many of the Indiana Jones movies as I grew up on them (yes I am that old) but that explore and adventure itch has been well scratched by the Tomb Raider series. So, all the differs is the style and swagger of Jones himself.
To be honest I am very worried after the demo and Todd Howard is the biggest of worry of them all. Right now, the game looks to have a lot of jank. Mouth movements don't sync, the whip hits nothing half the time during attacks and the characters vary from fluid to stiff. This is all VERY fixable, but with Howard at the helm, I am worried it will come out an unoptimized buggy mess because he could not care less about the details as long as his grand vision is achieved. He has never worked on a project where the details matter because Bethesda fans always valued substance over style any day. This is not that kind of game. The puzzles will hopefully be imaginative and creative, but for story, dialogue and gameplay, there are some heavy tropes that box the game in, so graphics and smoothness are critical to keeping us immersed in that style his is not good at. I just hope he can get over himself long enough to allow this team to deliver a quality product.

  9. I'm an 80's/90's kid and was literally raised on Indiana Jones. The Wolfenstein games are absolutely fantastic and insanely satisfying FPS gameplay. I was stoked from the beginning that MachineGames were the ones working on this, and feel very confident they understand the "nazi punching" assignment. I know first person goes against the norm, but their ability to tell a story with cutscenes and entertaining FPS gameplay is what they do best, and everything I've seen so far looks like a good time. Can't wait!

  10. I was in my 30s when the first movie came out. My sons were raised on that mythos along with Star Wars. I remember playing the first Atari game with my sons and husband (I was the one who figured out the staff, I am proud to say). Am I looking forward to this game? Oh, you betcha.

  11. I am ab-so-lutely down for this game. I think Machine games can make it work since the Wolfenstein games had a very cinematic feel too them (except youngblood.) I hope they don't drop the ball.

  12. I grew up playing one of the Indiana Jones games (idk the name) on my PS2 when I was like 8 lol but I had the best memories playing that game and feeling like I was Indy. If they can capture that feel minus all the bells and jingles that’s what I’m looking forward to. So I’m excited.

  13. 100% going to cop this. It would be cool if later on down the line in a dlc or something, they released a 3rd person mode so you can play the whole thing 3rd person. Like that one resident evil does.

  14. Yeah been waiting since they announced it 3 years ago and im a big Indy fan cant wait for it. Theres been 3 3rd person Indiana Jones games in the past so i dont mind it being first person as its something different

  15. I'm 42, and even though I was late to Star Wars, it was such a "force" in the zeitgeist, that it couldn't be competed with. Indie had very little of my attention as a child, if at all.

I was shocked when I saw the announcement and trailer for Jones. I was like, "what?! They're giving this series this much attention? Who wants this?! Damn it." 😡
