Peach and Luigi in SMB2? Nah man. Toad digs fastest and gets bonus runspeed while carrying anything. Toad is the best.
I think the hammer brother suit is the over power! Because it can all enemies!

The Fire Flower is OP in the original Super Mario Bros. because you can defeat any enemy with fireballs except for Buzzy Beetles and Podoboos. As for Mario 3, the Hammer Suit since the hammers can defeat enemies like the Thwomps and the shell can protect you from fireballs while crouching, and the Tanooki Suit because the statue form can take out enemies too like the Roto Discs

I feel Fire Flower is more overpowered than the Invincibility Star in SMB1 due to being much more common and being a ranged attacker.
No mention of BLJ in the first Japanese release and the North American release of Super Mario 64? Or Luigi's backflip from Super Mario 64 DS?
Yoshi isn't that great in Sunshine. I feel Mario spinning around as he uses FLUDD or Mario sliding on the ground right after using FLUDD is more overpowered.
In the right hands, the Blue Shell for New Super Mario Bros. DS can be overpowered.
Imagine if after you save new donk city a secret area that needs to be demolished and you can turn into the dinosaur and destroy everything
