most of my job is washing equipment like this that comes back from being rented. i highly recommend oreillys purple power for cleaning these machines. i haven't had a machine dirty enough from a jobsite to beat it yet. also, i hate footpedal skids. theyre the worst to control imo
Using a pressure washer on the engine bay would have been fine. We do it all the time at dealerships

Acautionary note, you lifted the bucket and turned off the engine. The hydraulics will eventually cause that bucket to drop. Could be hours, could be minutes. Yours is a new model so it might be a little better? Mine is quite old and will keep the bucket off the ground for a couple of hours then release. I have seen it drop afer a couple of minutes though.Your standing right between the bucket and the main body of the machine on the video, squish! Not sure if you knew so I thought Id share. I would suggest being crushed by a bucket would not be an ideal way to go 🙂
Not going to lie not a fan of the foot controls for the bucket. I run a 2021 t770 with all the joystick controls but that is a sweet machine you there nonetheless. Looks perfect for your use

You are tempting fate sir. If I pulled up on your job site and saw you get out of the cab with the loader arms up and safety bar not in proper place. You would get an ear full. You are trying to die my friend!!!
One hydraulic hose ruptures with the arms up and that orange bar not in it's correct place. The arms WILL cut you in half. Read the manual!!!

That’s not a dirty bobcat. You should come out and clean my sod skid steer. If you want a real challenge. There is probably three hundred pounds of mud on it.
There actually is a pretty neat trick to not get your hands greasy using a grease gun… use gloves. (i get greasy all the time aswell)

That Bobcat before washing was probably one of the cleanest I’ve seen. Clean one with old caked grease and clay packed in the undercarriage.
Nice demo but Remember your park brake is the Red Flip switch. That was the Hydraulics release. I'm no expert but I run some s250's, JD skid steers and Bobcat's ToolCat's (<<<fun lil rides) for my job. Last as a safety tip when having to exit the cab with the arms low… Rest the bucket propped up on a hard stationary surface if you can't lock the safety
Wear that seat belt! Only takes a split second to throw you forward a lot faster than you'd think. Remember your hands are spread and won't stop you.

believe it or not H pattern (the controls u have) is actually very rare now not many manufacturers use it anymore they use the ISO controls which is the joystick one

First time I ever see a bobcat get clean, I thought people just left them dirty.
Just a heads up its always a good idea to drop the belly pans & tilt the cab on a skid steer to remove dirt build up. I think youll be surprised how much gets in there.
That should have been the day you Park it forever! Dude it killed me to see you pull it out on that gravel. Thing looks amazing, makes me want one even more. Got the license plate that’s about it but it’s a step I recon lol

Like all the others have already said, amazing video. One piece of advice from a guy with a couple Bobcats… Milwaukee automatic grease gun, or whichever brand you prefer. Such a life saver when compared to the old school hand squeezer. Anyways, thanks for the great vid, cheers.
Great job man! I love watching your content. As an equipment operator, (I am sure you will not see this though), be careful leaving the hydraulics up and working near or under the front-end loader. I have seen many hydraulic systems fail to put you in danger.

POV you’re watching the first ever skid steer getting cleaned, and not by the rain.
Just a tip for next time, when your cleaning by the foot pedals there’s the triangle pieces on the floor that you can take out to open up the bottom so that you can hose out the floor with water.
