I wonder if after Starcade 1996 review we'll be getting an ECW Massacre On 34th Street review
13:45 He could "choppy choppy you pee-pee."
Just don't make him Doink.
I think McMahon-Helmsely was my favorite facgime in all of history.
If I remember correctly, xpac beat Kane on raw after this so she had to spend New Years with him. When she came back, she betrayed Kane. All part of the women are possessions to be won in wrestling matches thing that went on back then.
I miss those women matches. They're trying to make them look like real athletes now.
HHH was a heel but if Austin had pulled this and married Stephanie, the fans wouldโve still cheered him ๐
Hickory Dickory Dock >>>> Sufferinโ Succotash Son
OMG this is by far one of my favorite ppvs growing up me and my current ordered it we begged our ppls to buy it and they did and I still remember how we felt as kids watching it we talked about it all night how awsome this ppv was from the bad ass set which is still my favorite set they ever did ya had a 6 man hell in the cell in fact this match still beats alot of hell in the cells then ya had one of biggest heel turns ever and that was steph triple hhh and Vince was so much fun were have those days gone in wrestling. Trust me ppl I'm sure it's edited on peacock but plz watch this ppv top to bttm awsome
18:54 I still remember the Big Show's shirt he would later wear, BIG NASTY BASTARD
way to embrace what Bossman exposed
10:02 this part made me laugh
looked like Bulldog was like, it wasn't me, it was him, points to guy in crowd
After the match between Rock n' Sock and The New Age Outlaws, there was a Christmas vignette with Terri Runnels & Santa Claus.
McMahons got the blow!!
I did enjoy Big Boss Man. Mostly for nostalgia. I was always a fan. He wasn't great on the mic or in promos, but I still enjoyed him.
Ah, the PPV that quickly caused the downfall of Channel 4's relationship with WWF. Way to go, Miss Kitty!
Was this a pandemic video that is now being released?
Man pool fight would have been cancel and bad press
Loved the casino wedding
Terry long should be in the Hall of Fame
BBM a wwF contender ๐คจ. Like Taker kicked BBM ass in Hell in the Cell match
Go away Xpac heat.. Na go to hell Sean Waltman whatever how you spells him last night.
OMG this is peak Attitude Era. This me back to my college years. My roommates/fraternity brothers were huge pro wrestling fans
Awesome video love the attitude era!!
We ought to talk about how awesome the set looked; would love to see a future Survivor Series War Games get something reminiscent of of it. DDPY references are always appreciated; I did my session earlier today. I remember HHH and Stephanie's story the most; it still is off-putting to me she being unconscious from one segment (otherwise, she has been effective as heel since then). Kane had a great performance no doubt; the finish with the flying clothesline from the cage was incredible leading to the Tombstone (it is a shame he celebrated the fall of Roe v. Wade on Twitter years later).
"…if they did it felt tacky." In what world did a plot from a terrible soap opera not feel tacky? This storyline was garbage. The only thing that saved it was down the road them retconning it to be intentional.
RIP B.B. career, losing to Bob Holly infidelity
Present issues aside. When Vince wrestled he put his body on the line.
Please review Royal Rumble 2003!
deck the mankind with the head, fa la la la la la la la la ๐ถ
No the gate going up when vince's head is being rammed into it, i like to believe some worker tried to lift it up fast enough that vince doesn't hit it but it doesn't work and made it worse and is just "shoot i'm getting fired…"
I always liked the Rikishi driver.
Crazy to think Rumble 2000 was just after this, that HHH/Foley feud escalated QUICK. Plus the Hardy/Dudley feud too. Not to mention Kurts streak getting choked out.
Whenever my non wrestling fan friends argue with me, saying that wrestling is not a soap opera, I tell them to google the Test/Stephanie wedding night. Poor Test. Still feel bad for him 20+ years later.
Probably, top 5 OMG, outside of the ring moments Ever!
Anyone who complains that this is insulting, disgusting and demeaning towards women, I just look them in the eyes and say, "yup", "and there's nothing you can do about it".
Cue the Million dollar man laugh!
'With the deepest regrets, and tears that are soaked
I'm sorry to hear that your dad finally croaked
He lived a full life on his own terms
Soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms
But if I could have a son as stupid as you
I'd have wished for cancer so I would die too
So be brave, and be strong, get your life on track
'Cause the old bastard's DEAD and he ain't never comin' back!'
Big Boss Man was a riot in โ99! ๐๐ The whole Big Showโs dadโs funeral is something Iโll never forget for as long as I live. Also Big Show cosplaying as Morpheus from The Matrix gets a big thumbs up from me. ๐๐
Vince is the definition of "anything you can do," I'll do it too! Lol
Gotta respect your boss for that!
