  1. I think it's so important for people who have played the games to not keep repeating/ comparing the show to the game while the other person is trying to watch. Or more so just wait until the end to do it.

  2. Just a suggestion, John: Let the show give him the information. You are pre-firing a shit ton of information, that he's going to get from watching the show. Also consider you might have viewers who haven't played the game yet but want to see your reactions after watching an episode.

  3. People getting emotional in the first episode, most of them don't even know that it becames much more worst ahead in the story … Last Of Us is perfect. This game changed my life, made me learn how to overcome dificulties and persist, specially the part 2 when the pandemic game

  4. I was looking for reactions where not everyone had played the game, and I'm glad I'm getting it from you two. You're one of my favorite reaction channels I've subscribed to recently.

  5. The radio thing was about Bill and Frank, Ellie asks Joel who they are before she goes over the codes. And the 80's music code was indicating trouble, and it plays at the end of the episode. If you know, you know. Also, Joel and Tess were after guns in the game and were promised the guns Robert sold them, and then some. The shift to a car battery makes a lot of sense, and all of the stuff they added really complimented the story without making major detours. One of the most faithful video game adaptations so far that anyone has seen.

  6. There’s a few more “hard as it’s gonna get moments” to come this season

    Sam n Henry

    David’s whole arc

Sarah’s death was hard to watch again, but idk if I’m ready for the Sam n Henry stuff in live action lol

  7. For those that don't understand what the game and this new series is about. It is NOT about Zombies. It is about a very real Cordyceps fungal infection that affects ants. I've seen of other reactions and comments from folks who say they have played the game and yet keep choosing to call them Zombies, even after seeing the explanation at the start of the episode. It drives me crazy. Zombies are a reanimation from the dead by a virus and still continue to decompose. The Cordyceps Infection cannot live in a dead host, so it keeps them alive and mutates them from the inside out. The Infected do not eat people, but transfer the infection. There are six levels of transition. The newly Infected start off as Runners, then to Stalkers, then to Clickers, then to Bloaters, then to Shamblers, then to Rat King Stalkers, and finally Death.
