Ryu nakayama, the chainsaw man director, has actually been an action animation director on various works, SAO ordinal scale, FGO demonic front Babylonia ep 16 which he also was the ep dir for. So he has decent experience in action animation, which is probably why he's dir. I mean he technically directed Eve's MV raising d'etre too.
As a light novel reader, the vending machine one is honestly pretty good as far as iseaki light novels go. Nothing over the top, but not too bad either. Excited to see how they do the anime

I personally think even if first few episodes of csm come they are gonna be bangers it's like a damn attack on titan first episodes with amazing hooks and I would say as a hardcore aot fan that the first few episodes are gonna be even better then the starting of aot

I as a huge fan ad manga reader, agree that many peopel overhype CSM not because its not fucking great, but because its weird and everyone focusses on the animation. This story is fucking weird at times and I know laready it will be too weird for many people. Denji is also not really a normal protagonist, I fear taht too man ypoeple who havent read the manga expect someone heroic but yeah without any mayor spoile,r Denji is not that heroic. It desveres the hype but I think many people will get disappointed bcause all tehy focus on is the animation.
In Ryuu Nakama's works, you probably haven't seen raison d'être. Its a music video for an Eve song, and its insanely good quality

Well, it's a shounen anime, so 0 interest. But maybe it's just me, and we won't have stupid boring power level explanations (that's when I dropped Jujutsu Kaizen, when the blonde guy that covers his eyes and wastes half the espisode explaining to the villain how he's so powerful yatta yatta yatta) and even more boring tournament arcs. Garnt mentioned God of High School. Again, booorriiinnng. All fighting choreography, literally no substance or character growth.

The one thing that drew me into Solo Leveling was the art and action scenes. To my understanding they're likely going to adapt the Japanese light novel version which is.. pretty bad
