So the reason why the original studio didn't make this game is because Deep Silver owns the property and just had them develop the first one. They decided after Riptide that they wanted to work with Warner Bros and make Dying Light instead, so Deep Silver had to go look for other devs for Dead Island 2. They went through 2 studios before deciding to make it themselves through an internal studio, Dambuster.

If u feel like ur weapons aren't doing enough damage, level match them in the workbench, it gets expensive after a while tho.
Also don't forget to use environment there were some pyros and explosive truck u could've used during Boss fight
