They came from a distant galaxy, hungry for new resources and slaves. Their fleet consisted of hundreds of huge ships armed with lasers and missiles. They were not going to negotiate with the Earthlings, they only wanted to capture them.
The Earthlings were unprepared for such an attack. Their space stations and satellites were smashed in the first minutes of the battle. Their armies and air forces could not stand up to the might of the aliens. Their cities and villages were burning under fire from the sky.
But the Earthlings did not give up. They gathered their best scientists and engineers and devised a plan of self-destruction. Their mission was to launch nuclear warheads hidden deep within the planet and blow it up from within, creating a giant explosion that would destroy all life.
The Earthlings knew that this was their only chance to keep Earth out of the hands of the aliens. They knew this was their last sacrifice for freedom and dignity. They knew it was their end.
They ran their codes, activating their nukes. They looked up at their sky, which was getting darker and darker. They hugged their loved ones they would never see again. They said their final goodbye.
This is how the story of Earth ended. That’s how the story of humanity ended. So ended the story of one of the most beautiful and amazing planets in the universe.
