  1. a thing you should try in japan is a togarashi-egg pressed toast sandwich to make it is simple take 2 square sandwich slices and keep them for later now make scrambled eggs but undercook them just a bit while stirring add the togarashi, cream, salt, black pepper, and thinly sliced spring onions take the pan off the heat when its still like jello and put it on one sandwich slice and add the other one on top and put it in the fridge to stiffen up and then put it in a sandwich grill toaster which marks it diagonally, when the steam stops its ready to enjoy!
make it as hot or not to taste.🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

  2. Guga, kobe beef is indeed quite expensive.

However, if you're near kyoto, take the A-line to either kusatsu or ohmi hachiman (shin kaisoku from kyoto platform 2 towards maibara)

There find a place called "mawari". It has ohmi beef all-you-can-eat for as low as ¥3000, although I recommend the ¥6000 course (it has A5 included)

  3. at times in Japan, the very thin wagyu slices are fried like crispy bacon in fancy restaurants the crispy wagyu is crushed and put on ice cream in a lot of cases wasabi ice cream then a tuff of whipped cream on top, of course, a dabbing of togarashi on that HMMM!
yup, the Japanese are nuts with combining insane flavors! just go and see their soft drinks selection.

  4. We just came back from Ikebukuro (Tokyo) and all of your observations are spot on. Thankfully we had the Tobu Department store nearby our hotel. The grocery store in the basement was wild. We ate sushi and A5 wagyu until we could no longer eat it. We also went to Kobe Beef 511. The Family Marts and Lawsons are great. We were paying between 1,600 and 2,100 yen per 100 grams for the A5. After seeing how clean the city was, and how orderly, polite and respectful the people are, we should be ashamed as a country.
