Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I’ve loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on YouTube, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I’ve evolved into doing other things on YouTube. For years now I’ve wanted to create a music channel on YouTube, and recently just figured “why not?”, so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

My wife and I drove from Toronto to Philly in 85 for the Live Aid Concert. I loved Led Zeppelin and had seen them twice before and wanted to see them again, but they were disappointing. My wife loved the Cars, and had a not so subtle crush on Ben Orr the singer, and they put on a good show. They were a fun back then but both Ben & Rick have passed on.
You should definitely check out moving in stereo, it was/ is such a fantastic song
Another good song from one of the best groups in that "New Wave" era.
Great band! RIP RICK AND BENJAMIN. These guys started in 1978, and man they took off 📴 from there!!
Ric Ocasek (RIP), the tall guy, was 6'4"" but looked taller because he was so thin.
Why did you rush ( no pun intended) through this reaction? It was like an assembly line. Did you have to go pee or something?
Great song! Enjoyed your reaction & thanks to the person who gave this donation request! 😀
I was so in love with Ben Orr…fantastic musician as well.
The Cars debut album is like a greatest hits LP. Amazing songs non stop 🔥
Shared on The Cars FB fan page for others to enjoy, very cool to see one of the greatest American bands make an appearance on the channel today 😎
Great reaction, thanks Shawn!😊 Benjamin Orr was one of the coolest people who ever lived, IMO. Such an amazing voice, and he was (by all accounts that I’ve read) as beautiful on the inside as he was on the outside. We lost him much too early. And lost Ric too in 2019. Ric’s last name is pronounced “o-KASS-ik” (there’s a video called "Members of The Cars introduce themselves” in which he says his own name, and I've heard it that way other places too), although lots of people have pronounced it "o-KASE-ik" and maybe he didn't mind that.
❤
I'm not even close to gay but Benjamin is one good looking dude
they ROCKED
Got kicked out of their concert in Little Rock —early 80’s— caught trying to record to make a bootleg 🤣🤣😬
MTV had a contest and the winner could pick a band to play in their backyard . The winner picked The Cars .
All my favorite Cars songs are sung by Ben 🙂
Moving in Stereo.
The tall guy was Ric Ocasek, pronounced O-Kay-sik, the second Guitarist and alternate Vocalist, he also wrote a lot of The CARS songs. And he, like all good Rock Stars, married a Superstar Model who was named Paulina Poritzakova. They even had a joint cameo appearance in the movie "Lipstick", directed by John Waters. RIP to Ric, and Bassist Benjamin Orr.
The Cars are from Boston….wicked
This album shook me when it came out. I saw them on their "Heartbeat City" tour back in 1984. I actually found the concert t-shirt the other day!
So good to see you enjoy this great song! RIP the lead singer for this song is Benjamin Orr. He also sang the lead on the ethereal song “Drive”. He was super attractive and sang great🎶❤️
The Cars are iconic. One of the greatest bands ever, they had at least two full albums where every single song was hit worthy. They pretty much ruled the late 70s into the mid 80s and rang in the new wave age.
Yes. Wow.
Do Moving in Stereo and All Mixed Up, but let them play together. They cross-fade and go so well together like that.
The great Ben Orr on vocals. RIP.
Rest in peace Orr and Ocasek 🕊️🎸🎤🎤
Thank you to the person who made the donation request for this amazing song!
Great reaction .
👌 I think the California connection you're thinking of is that this song has hand-muted, percussive, chunky rhythm guitar strumming and so does a lot of surf rock. Even The Beach Boys.
Pronounced O-KAY-SICK
I was 10 years old when MTV started and the CARS were one of the first bands to make real music videos. The cars, the Police, Blondie, and Joe Jackson were some of our first MTV memories.
I can't hear this song's ending without my mind going directly into "Moving In Stereo."
…….from the Back Bay “Boston”
Go Celtics ☘️🍀☘️
I saw them about a year after this. What a wonderful show. So hip. You definitely have to check out Candy-O!
Love the Cars and this is my favorite song by them. I put them in the same category with Cheap Trick who you should check out as well, if you haven't yet! (I Want You To Want Me, Surrender, Dream Police, etc).
Ric's last name is actually pronounced like O case ik. They were both very talented in their own right. The Cars were just amazing with both of them as lead vocals.
I was in the High school band , several of us decided to start a stage band to play at basket ball games and our music director agreed . I played bass, This brings back great memories as this was our favorite song to play 🙂 . Great reaction love what you do, keep going !
Benjamin Orr really had that Rod Stewart hairdo thing going on didn't he? lol Wore their greatest hits CD out. First CD I ever bought. Touch and Go!
Side 2 of the Cars debut album should be played nonstop as it is really designed that way. It is a masterpiece!
The Cars Side 2 non stop of the debut album from 1978.

MY BEST FRIENDS GIRL, GOOD TIMES ROLL, LET'S GO!, MAGIC, SHAKE IT UP, CANDY-O, IT'S ALL I CAN DO, MOVING IN STEREO, YOU MIGHT THINK and so many of their songs played in the soundtrack of my life (What's wrong with me?). Ric sang lead on most songs.
Check out more Cars songs, Elliot Easton, their guitarist, is one of the best soloist of all time. His riffs and solos are ear candy to me, especially on the song Touch and Go.
One of my favorite bands ever. Awesome.
