  1. Are you playing on a Switch or a modded emulation? I just can figure out why even compressed Youtube footage of your game looks light years better than mine does playing on my docked Switch. The resolution is maxed on my Switch's settings and I have a pretty decent OLED monitor I'm playing on but everything just looks like a blurry mess.

  2. 2:20 complete waste of these items. You can get "full recovery" off just Hyrule herbs or fish. As you said yourself, they are much rarer materials in this game. IF you have up 4-5 of them you can get +15 hearts buffs. Along with full recovery.. without wasting you possible +15 hearts buffs materials you can heal easily using nothing but meat and herbs.. ive got over 100 prime meats and herbs and such saved up, and ive been using them to heal.. DO NOT WASTE HEARTY ON HEALING ALONE.

  3. 2 big radish, 2 lil, 1 g apple +17 hearts,
    2 big 1 g apple +11
    2 Salmon 1 bass 1 g apple +11
    2 little 1 g apple +7
    1 small truffle 1 big radish 1 g apple +7
All in all its seems highly beneficial to combine them. You get more bang for your buck so to speak. Using them for "full recovery" is asinine when herbs and other non buff items are so damn common.

  4. While I am pretty bummed that Hearty Durians are gone, I can't help but feel it was necessary. Hearty foods essentially invalidated all other healing items. With them being so rare, I'm encouraged to save them for when I really need those extra hearts, instead of using them for cheap healing.

  5. I am pretry sad that they took durians out of the game … especially for a game that doesnt take itself serious and lets people do all kind of stuff, skip puzzles etc, but giving people an easy way to get hearts back and some extra hearts is apparently too much to ask… will see how the game continous but i definitely dont want to start farming some bullshit animals or food just to continue and finish the game… that was so great about botw… just went to take durians 1 or 2 times in the playthrough and i was done for the game… didnt have to worry about that stupid cooking system anymore

  6. Tip for apples.
Go ahead and drop a few gold/normal apples on the floor and fuse them all together. Favorite that fuse in your autobuild menu, and now you have an automatic apple harvester that'll rip apples right out of trees. Just don't actually press build or you'll make fake apples with your zonite.

  7. It's very odd to me that they put in this great cookbook, yet there's no way to search it. Same for the massive inventory. Developers overlooking such obvious functions like this drive me insane!

  8. for the mighty simmered fruit, instead of a golden banana … i mean apple :p you can use dragon's horn like ordrac etc, it gives you 10 3/4 heart and 3 bonus atk but for 30 min!
