Memphis, City Council Chair, will join us to talk about how the city is preparing for the aftermath of the video’s release. And a pathology expert will walk us through the injuries Tyre suffered that ultimately killed him.
I’ll be talking to two more former Bethune-Cookman University alums. One is a former NFL football player the school brought to speak to the football teams after Ed Reed’s dismissal. He’ll tell us what happened in that meeting.

Fantastic show and panel! What happened to Tyre Nichols is heartbreaking, and the fact that officers who look like him beat him to death is even more tragic. It didn't take 5 officers all over 230 lbs to handcuff Tyre who was 6'3 and only weighed 145 lbs because he suffered from chron's disease. I am glad the Justice Department and FBI have launched Civil Rights Investigations alongside the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation lauching its own separate investigation into this case. The two fire department employees who were fired who stood by with the officers waiting for Tyre to die; one of them checked his pulse twice during that 30 mins of them doing absolutely nothing to render aid to him before the ambulance came in to pick up Tyre. His mother said he was beating until he was unrecognizable. That's why he couldn't stay sitting up against the police car because of all the punches and kicks he took to the head and face and baton hits to his stomach and body, and he was bleeding internally not because he was high. Tyre tragically suffered for no reason, because the officers lied and said he was speeding and swerving yet the police chief said when they reviewed the video footage, Tyre was not speeding or swerving. The calls for Police Reform need to be continuous until we get it, and the FOP needs to be demolished.

Ohmy Lord! This was past police brutality, it was beyyond excessive force!! They inhumanely brutalzed this young blk man. Was it the car he was ridding in, something they didn't have money to afford and they were jealous of watching him drive around in something he was more than likely working hard as a teacher to possibly own? Because they didn't have one to drive like it? Is this why they beat him so brutal! You'd be surprised at the jealousies of people, then they walked around and bragged about how they beat him? And one talking about "Let me get my Baton?? They beat him to death, all taking turns, and moving out of the way, to allow other officers to punch and kick him while he was down. He was probably dead already when he was left sitting up at the police car, and had fallen over. You hear the white cop say sit him back up, and one of the blk ones asks oh ok you want him sat back up and got another blk creature in uniform to sit him up. Waiting for an abulance, the way they beat him was like they had a hatred jealousy towards him. The only thing I can think is the car he was driving, shows a hateful animosity toward him some kind of jealousy.
