Now, after five decades of remote exploration, we are once again aiming to send humans back to the Moon. This time, with much greater ambitions that are set to revolutionize space travel and catapult us into further planetary exploration of our Solar System. Apollo, the Greek god of the Sun, took us to the Moon and back, but it’s Artemis, his twin sister, who’s going to lead us toward building a base there and guide us in landing the first human on Mars.

  1. One small step for 'A' man, one giant leap for mankind.. always killed me that the mic cut out just a bit when said "for a man" and everyone misinterpreted it as one small step for man….

  2. Hey, I really love your channel but most of the time I'm having trouble hearing the words because it's too high and low frequency overwhelms the other frequency and your voice lacks the middle frequency or whatever it's called I can't really explain 😅. I've adjusted my headphones but they are the same. I'm not a hater or something I just really want to help you improve

  3. Nothing America does is for Humankind. America only takes from others…..it never gives. America only kills…..it never builds up. I can prove that Artemis is NOT for humankind. "Space Force" See…..its always about killing and war with America.

  4. The sad thing is that regardless of whether or something has anything to do with race, gender, sexuality, etc.. the racists, sexists, homophobes, bigots will ALWAYS crawl out screeching about it being "woke" if anything but a straight white guy is in charge leading anything.
Just being recognized openly as a first for anyone makes messed up people feel like they're LOSING something, 99.9% of those people did nothing but still feel like it's their triumph on the line. It's like grown adults and sports team obsession but horrible for society as a whole.
Seriously, look around. The people that obsessively throw up symbolism for things (not just recognize a moment in history) always lose their shit if symbolism fits in any context that leans towards our progress as an evolving species, leaving old hate and ignorance behind, looking towards a more inclusive and reality-based future.
They'll pick someone qualified, trained, exceptional. Who the hell cares if they chose a woman or any race? Nobody except weirdos who think they're playing for a team think like that. It's implied the person making the statement doesn't think whoever is chosen should have it or is qualified because they're "only being chosen because of [insert group you don't like.]

It's nonsense. Whoever you're around, find someone new people who don't fill your head with that crap.

  5. I'm not sure what it is but something feels wrong about this.

50 years ago we had this moon mission down pat. It became so common that people stopped watching the landings on the TV.

50 years later our computers are so far ahead of the computers back then that our phones have more computing power than the Apollo crafts.

With Artemis we have 2 flights before we send humans.

I know it is a new rocket design but space x sends so many rockets to space that the launches aren't even interesting anymore.

I think that we should have paid Mr. Twitter to do it for a quarter of the price.

What do I know, This just seems fishy.

1.) We have had the rocket technology for over 50 years.

2.) Our computers are so far ahead of the old ones.

3.) Elon could have done it cheaper and faster. ( I'm nolonger an Elon fan after Doge and Twitter. But Space x is amazing.)

    It just doesn't feel right.

I didn't watch Artemis 1 (unmanned flight, old news)

I won't be watching Artemis 2 (unmanned flight to the moon, old news)

I will be watching Artemis 3. I was a baby during the early moon landings and I want to see us go again.(if I'm still alive when it launches.)

    Something just doesn't add up.

  6. No one has never laid foot on the moon my friend… The average man can't prove most things that they choose to speak of💯 Technology/information weren't that prevalent back then, hence , people would believe everything they were taught … The system is misleading and corrupt.

  7. It seems dumb to GAF about the sex and skin color of the astronauts. If it matters so much, then the first people we send to Mars, who have about the same chance of survival as the Apollo 11 astronauts, should also be "people of color" and women so that they can be the first. It's a lose-lose because some people would rather focus on trivial differences than realize the achievement is for humanity itself.

  8. Btw did you realize that "human" and "woman" both have "man" in it? Saying humankind because you believe mankind isn't inclusive indicates to viewers that either you don't understand what mankind means, or that you do understand and instead are trying to push a woke political agenda.

It's really facinating how so many properties with-in Nature use: ~{"Differences"}~
That "factor" seems to be a key factor in keeping dynamic systems functioning. *High pressure/low pressure, hot/cold temp, different densities, static electric charges/discharges, electromagnetism north/south poles, different velocity/angular momentum, different amounts of energy/mass/frequency/vibrations. Different layers between different regions such as: (Land/water/air/edge of the atmosphere/space/ the different regions in space with different particle density/background radiation, creating bubbles/membrane layers/cloud regions, nebula's/Galaxy's/Galaxy clusters/ Cosmic filaments/less dense regions of space compared to dense regions of space.) All of these things are basic differences but create a way for the dynamic engine with-in Nature to continue flowing and operating to create and convert energy. Just Like How a battery 🔋 transfers + charges through a membrane layer to a – charged side. Like how regions of high/low pressure and temperature 🌡️differences create winds. In water- add some factors and It creates ocean currents and flow. Then internally in our planet it creates plate tectonics, planetary convection, geothermal activity, a magnetic field around our planet, to hold a atmosphere.

The natural world around us is just utterly facinating to me.

  10. as person of color who's care for this person of color and woman shit this condecending , woke virtue signaling is quite stupid why just focus on the person best for the job what ever that person skin color is. another thing is as a person of color we don't need hand out or condecending pat on ours head we want to achieve great thing on ours own.
