The Tennessee Titans are getting some pieces back on the offensive line, but the Titans should stick with their starting five to open the season. Next, Kyle Philips is set to return this week, but the Titans have a tough decision to make at punt returner. Do the Titans let Philips go out there again knowing he got hurt on his last attempt? Finally, the Titans are in a tight AFC South division race and don’t play another division game until Week 11, making this one even more important.

  1. So Skor played LT his whole college career and damn good but keep him at LG when our LT sucks? Brilliant. Can't fix stupid. There was always hope Dillard would work out but now we know. Move on. Dillard and Radunz are backups at best. Neither should be out there unless we absolutely have zero options.

  2. Don't think you can just remove Hubbard from the lineup and insert NPF into the RT slot. Hubbard has played above average RT and is not the problem. NPF played BELOW average RT last year. He needs to WIN his spot back into the starting lineup. Peter S? Get him into the lineup asap or when ready to go!! He is a baller. Like to see if Radunz can play LT. Showed well against the Forty Niners in 2021 game.

  3. Our ol looked better last week but i cant forget how much they have lost the battle this year. I guess my question is was it the improved techniques of our ol or was it the def we were playing ? Do you think im being too critical ?

  4. Considering Phillips injury history, I don’t think he should be doing anything other than playing the WR only. I feel like he’s much more valuable in that role than anywhere else

  5. Although we know Phillips is injury prone, Vrabel won’t allow that to stop him from getting every drop of production out of him we can. You’re either healthy and do everything you can to contribute or not. I have the same reservations but Vrabel is not the kind of coach to be that cautious.

  6. No way should Phillips return punts!! He is not an nfl-caliber punt returner! We need to find out how good he can be as a receiver. He may be a killer route-runner to compliment dhop, and the rest of the wide receiver crew. Philips needs to prove he is an A+ value chain mover and then PR won't be an issue.

  7. I can’t do it anymore. You take wayyyyyyyyy to long to make the point. Every time I watch this show you say just wait I’ll get there in a minute like three Fn times.

  8. So your telling us you can coach the Tennessee Titans team? Can wait to tell Coach Vrabel about this. You might have the master key to break the lock on Tennessee Titans mistakes.

  9. You just can’t adjust the OL after last week. I know you disagree but I think Brewer is the medium-long term answer at center and think he will keep getting better as he is allowed to stay in one position longer and longer also seeing how they’ve been using him to roll back and cut off Tannehills blind side in pass pro we need someone super athletic at C so as long as Kelly and Co is using him that way he should stay.

After watching the all-22 I think Sunday was the best game Tannehills played since 2021, he was looking off safeties, making the D pay for mistakes and doing everything you expect from a veteran Qb. I loved it.

  10. I know we don’t want to see Phillips returning punts but you just can’t have Kinsey on the 53 as a punt returner only it’s just not something you can do unless that punt returner is like Devin fu@@ing Hester lol there’s just no way Vrabes carries Kinsey as a punt returner only.

It’s too bad we don’t have like a big body’d YAK type first round talent who can get open off the line and create plays in the short passing game. No clue where we can find one. When Burks gets back maybe he can suggest someone because it ain’t him so far 😂

  11. I actually like we don’t get any more division games after indy because basically you get Indy then win or lose that game you get 5 weeks including a bye to prepare for the jags and the start of your division game and by then the OL will be as good as it’s getting and kelly will have had a ton of games to work stuff out. Tannehill will be a year removed from injury and two months of chemistry built with the new targets.

The titans have a big opportunity. If they can just get to .500 at the bye I’ll be happy with the way the schedule goes after the bye- ATL-PITT-Tampa-Jag-Car-Colts. That appears to be a super favorable stretch right NOW. Then dolphins are gonna boat race you and you finish with Houston/Seattle/Houston/jags which will probably be a “control your own destiny” run for this team in which Vrabel teams strive for.

Optimism is back on the menu boys!!

  12. I dont understand why Kyle would have to only be relegated to 3rd downs. You said it yourself, they have to start running out of shotgun more. That would leave room for him to be in those snaps. He can be a playmaker if healty. They need to draw up plays for him like they have D Hop or Chris Moore.

  13. I think you gotta make changes and get Peter & NPF in the lineup .

Titans will be better with peter and NPR in the Lineup long term ..I rather bite the bullet and deal with rust now then in week 6 or 8 when all players are in mid season form and there not

  14. Agree stick with the starting five. Unfortunately chances are somebody goes down for a brief period. Can plug and play NPF Radunz somewhere and still have a chance to put a competent line out there. As far as Phillips, just gotta see where he's at. Look to see an even smaller snap count for him. NWI plays his role to well to pull the snaps from him.

  15. I will not jump for joy for 1.5 games of decent to good play by the OL against 1 team that is creative in self implosion (Chargers) and another one while talented, is going through the motion with Burrows playing injured and being more on the field than normal…

If NPF and Soronski were named clear starters, it was for a reason. LOL. I understand if it was a close battle in training camp but from what we saw in camp, both of them seem to be clear starters.

I definitely want both of them getting snaps during this game and not be a healthy scratch. This next game vs the Colts will be your classic trap game. I want my best roster on the field…There is plenty of games left to continue building chemistry on the fly…we not at game 12 or 13 of the season…

  16. I here you but I really want to see Radunz on LT he finally got a shot last year and was great until he got hurt lol. I think he deserves another shot i know they paid Dillard and want to be sure he isnt it so I;m willing to wait until bye week

  17. I don't think Brewer is doing bad. He made a few key blocks on big plays last game. Versatile ones. It's his first year at center so I expected a few transitional struggles but overall my personal take on him has not been bad.

  18. The line is atrocious bottom line. Had the Titans retained their former pieces, this team would easily be in high contention this season. This is a consistent theme in Tennessee after building key positions, especially the offensive line into one of the best in the league, then tearing the walls down due to horrendous salary cap / player contract management. There was no reason to cut Ben Jones and not re-sign Nate Davis. Letting Quessenberry and Kelly go was another horrible decision, who were instrumental in Henry's best years at bargain prices. Lewan was the only top tier disappointment who should've been cut after the 2020 season to save precious cap dollars.
