The followup to the Reagan Revolution in DC is apparently a regime of military capitalism that invests state capital in military-industrial production, without using American labor on the front lines, but instead using proxy forces fighting to the death of the last Ukranian or Gazan. Biden very shrewdly began his 2024 campaign speaking at Valley Forge. I learned my history in the public schools of Boston in the 1990s. Lexington, Concord, Plymouth Plantation were my school field trips. So my sense of history is very much attuned to the message and audience for Biden at Valley Forge. He knows his audience, and that's me, and of all the revolutionary history I remember from my childhood schooldays, I vividly remember the character of Baron von Steuben, a (disgraced) Prussian general who whipped the American troops into shape and saved the revolution. From that day, Prussia has forever been stamped on the American character and particularly its military ethos. Americans are not pacifists like modern Germans. Americans are a Prussian people and that comes from Valley Forge. So Biden is wrapped in a very thick blanket of ideology in his first speech for re-election. America is a byzantine country matched only by the futility of China-watching. If you're not from here, you don't know the significance of Valley Forge and why Biden chose that as his inaugural symbol of propaganda in 2024.

  14. Personally, I think investors will start to seek more market diversification. can i confidently invest about $3m into the financial markets in 2024? I'm still not sure how rates will effect the market just yet, which worries me a lot.

    Your coverage of Boeing and the 737 Max saga is informative and appreciated. As a retired airline pilot and aerospace engineer it is disappointing to me how Boeing has faltered. If you continue your coverage please include a look at what happened with the cockpit door during the recent incident and explosive decompression. Boeing has said that it is designed to fail open in this situation even though they didn't provide that information to airlines and pilots. This is a MAJOR security problem that likely pertains to ALL Boeing aircraft.
