China can't, and WON'T invade Taiwan for many reasons:
1 Even with the technological advances, they face the same issue as the Germans vs. UK in WWII.
2 The sanctions imposed on China would VERY quickly cripple China.
3 The U.S. are helping. Taiwan will have every advantage the U.S. enjoys. Not to mention, Japan, and South Korea.
4 China better keep an eye on Russia vs. Ukraine. Some small people, can hit VERY hard. Espesially, if they have help.
5 NO one likes a bully, and China WILL pay for their arrogance, and aggressive attitude. Both immediately, and in the future.
Plus MANY other reasons.
I personally don't see China even TRYING to invade.

China calls Taiwan as a rebellious part of China. In fact, everything is the opposite. The original administration of China escaped to Taiwan when Mao and the communists took over the mainland China. Therefter Taiwan has been independent and even represented both Chinas in the UN till 1964.
China is a communist aggressive country even today and they do not hide it. Taiwan is a democratic peacful country with most friendly citizens. They only want to live in peace. It is everyone's duty to protect the Taiwanese people.
Taiwan depends on US for weapins. Chihs didn't just claim Taiwan.,Taiwan is part of China. All countries acknowledge this. You're ignorant.
