I'm hoping we get more character development and dialogue this time. I felt like I didn't get to spend enough time with the characters to really care much about them. Besides Beatrix. Beatrix is bae and had some interesting psychology at least. But characters like Jaromir? Super cool voice but I could barely tell you a damn thing about him otherwise.
and while I really liked the gameplay and the art style, the romances were SO awkward. Just: "SUDDENLY I LOVE YOU" lmao
Symphony of War was one of my favorite games made, full stop. Right up there with games like Baldur's Gate 2 and Warcraft 3, just made on a smaller scale. Its really good on a million levels and I truly appreciate the developers for making it. It hit the ogre battle itch great while being modernized in all the best ways. You guys have a real talent for this stuff that most developers wouldnt attempt to tackle. I hope you make more, because the only thing I said after I 100%'d all the achievements on Warlord difficulty(Yes, including How???) all I could think is "I want more of this."
I bought the game when it came out, its ok but has some pretty major flaws. The story and dialogue is amateur, the dev seemingly paid a real artist to do the combat sprites but then added stuff later and didn't use the same artist? The lack of continuity between art "Styles" is so jarring I don't think I will bother to play the dlc.
The creepy Giantess fetish insertion was fucked up too.
