  1. Would be interesting to have brawler ships with full frontal firepower..with super duper firing. Helps when you chase down enemy convoys or go headlong into battles

We kick off the new year with a battle where the Japanese warship flees the battle. After sinking many cruisers, another lone cruiser has sailed into the Pacific ran into our battlecruisers who have arrived to support the Okinawa invasion. They swiftly sink the cruiser to put it as short as possible with HMS Duke of Kent claiming the kill. We have also sunk many Japanese transports. Combined with the fact that they had a revolution, I am sure they will soon surrender to us.
Join us next time as we see whether Okinawa was successfully invaded.

  3. (46:00) No wonder about it. If you had fired torpedoes it would have sunk the enemy CL. "Can't have that says the AI – so no torpedoes fired." As opposed to when they get to launch at point blank, or are JUST dying.

  4. The only thing I don't quite like about those Japanese heavy cruisers is the fact that they have such a reduced draught that they seem to be almost underwater half the time! I know this is personal preference, but I tend to like ships with a relatively high freeboard, they seem more ocean-going to me.

  5. I'm certainly no expert, but to pronounce Japanese words it's best to keep in mind that they can be broken down into their relatively simple building blocks – so, "Sazanami" is "Sa-za-na-mi" pronounced "Sah-zah-nah-me" as one quick word.
