Sweet Baby Inc FLOP: Unknown 9 Awakening has almost NO VIEWS on new trailer. MoDeRn AuDiEnCe is MIA

The newest trailer for Unknown 9 Awakening, a Sweet Baby Inc game, has dropped… and almost nobody watched it. Bandai Namco has a million subscribers on their youtube channel, and yet nobody could be bothered to watch this trailer. People are tired of the girl boss trope, and Sweet Baby games are destined to fail because they’re always attached to this played out trope.

As usual, make sure to LIKE this video and SUBSCRIBE to the channel if you haven’t yet. Our space pirate fleet is growing rapidly, and we’d love to have YOU as a member of the crew.

  1. My son, Bandai Namco used to be a shining light in gaming. They lost their way, and laid with SBI over-long. This sapped their vitality and their resolve. Now the foul stench of SBI and their ilk have contaminated a once-great light in the gaming world, and have brought it low. Never consort with SBI, or with anything they have to offer. Promise me this, my son. Your future as a gamer depends on it.

  2. It's a small franchise, but perhaps a video about what is happening with Legacy of Kain would be worthwhile?
They are making a remaster of Soul Reaver 1 and 2, the LoK games should have been impossible to add any woke stuff, there is no plotlines where sexuality can fit and Soul Reaver had barely any NPCs that were fully humanoid to even fit identity politics.
So what did the woke developer too? They took a background statue that was female and outright made it manly, not a polygon on it's body was left untouched, they turned it into "body type A"

It won't even be out until December 10th but we can only wonder what other areas they managed to find to sabotage it with political changes like that.

There is a comic being released for it in May 2025 too and I have no hope for it because no one involved in it is capable of making anything except political propaganda

  3. As a person who pretty much always mains female characters when given the choice, I gotta admit it's insane that SBI manages to make games that are so bad that I can't be bothered to purchase them, despite featuring a lot of female characters.

  4. They have to realise. If you're marketing a product to people who aren't interested in a hobby, trying to promote it via a channel that strictly appeals to fans of the existing product won't work. They actually have to do marketing for a non existing audience

  5. sorry but reality check, if lara croft wasn't as hot as a rock on the sun, no one would even remember tomb raider, let alone would it have sold millions of copies. no one will pay for what they can get for free, and ugly is everywhere.

  6. This will be another Flintlock level woke disaster. Love to see it….I'm sure these woke investment companies lending devs money must be running low on cash at this point since they've collectovely lost hundreds of millions at this point already over the past year or so.

  7. Nothing wrong with a female protag… it all depends on the delivery and what message they are trying to push. If strong female characters are a problem then Why would Tomb Raider be popular? Horizon, silent Hill 3, Resident Evil, Bayonetta, blah blah. The nuances are important as A female character isn't a problem on its own. So what is the issue with Unknown 9's protagonist? other than the fact she is a woman? Well honestly I don't see anything wrong with the character models, they look fine, but on a mechanic level, even if it were a male character, the game just doesn't look all that impressive, it looks like a mid lower budget PS4 title that would've been interesting back in 2012 maybe?

I think people aren't overly impressed because it just simply looks quite generic overall. But with the latest controversy surround SBI… its not surprising that a lot of people are just automatically turned off by it. and likely why Bandai Namco are keeping it on the downlow…… or they could just not see the worht in heavily marketing it due to its lower budget nature. who knows.
