Inaros is a big walking health bar and has received mixed opinions over the years, but despite this, he remains as a great new player warframe and excellent for casual grinding. So lets take a dive into the sands of Inaros and see what this ancient warrior was all about.

NOTICE: This video is NOT about any endgame or high endurance and level cap strategies. I base my review and points off of how the frame performs in the GENERAL META and 90% of the game, I am NOT a level cap creator, there are other creators who specialize in that. I do NOT dive into high endurance strategies either. Thank you for understanding.

So before I get grilled by the Inaros mains, let me explain
I did NOT say that Inaros is the worst warframe, at the end I clearly stated that Inaros is NOT worse than Hydroid, in my opinion, I think he's better than him.
Second, why does my Inaros only have 3-4k Health? I don't play Inaros past level 250 or so, so I don't care about having super high HP, I run gloom for most of the time as you can see on screen, my health is always high plus it doesn't even matter, an Inaros with even 2.5k health can survive the entire star map.
As an old Inaros main, I can only hope our King of Pocket Sand gets a TLC to his kit. Especially after Sevagoths introduction, and Wukong's rework changing how some frames revive.
It just feels bad that his "free" revive passive is functionally useless past level 20. Personally, if I had the ability to, I would change his revive passive to work off his scarab armor. As long as scarab armor is active and he goes down, the swarm detonates in an AoE (maybe a base range of 20m? can be affected by range mods), and finding at least one enemy, restores Inaros to life with his health restoring to the amount of scarab armor had at the time of death. So if you only had 50% scarab armor, you would come back at half health. No scarab armor, no free revive.
It plays into his already existing tanky style, and doesnt interfere with a part of the kit that you're likely to subsume out.
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one that calls his 1st as "pocket sand".
Day 1 of commenting "DaGoat100" until you get 100k Subs
Inaros sits pretty as the begining frame. when you don't know what to do and just want to play a new gamemode or whatever grab good old mummys boy and do the tasks without dying.
Also while his support isn't as great getting scarab storm off on objectives might as well make them invincible.
you dare to compare inaros to hydroid? damn where those braincells go! kuva lich must have stolen them!
but no all honesty i wouldnt really judge any frame for what they have to offer i would say different frame different playstyle somebody is gonna main something due to PROS and CONS
First I wanna say that I enjoy youre content.
But there are times were Im taken out of the flow when you repeated the same bit of Information multiple times while just rephrasing it.
Its very understandable why that happens and is certainly only a minor gripe , but I thought id mention it.
Keep it up 🙂 .
It's funny to think that giving Inaros 1 point of shields would probably make him the tankiest frame in the game.
As somebody who likes Inaros, I see potential in him. His 1 acts as cheap crowd control even if it doesn't last long or do much damage. His 2 is fantastic, but falls below Nyx if you plan to convert eximuses to your side. His 3 does need a rework, as it does hardly anything other than getting dudes out of your face, something that shouldn't be a big deal with the right mods, but this leaves Inaros with no decent damage abilities. His 4 also needs a rework as it really doesn't do enough for how much it takes away when fully charged. His passives also leave much to be desired. As a result, I'd say he's a 7/10 frame, and I can understand the criticism against him, but I also love him due to the niche he fills as is.
What abilities do you guys recommend to subsume onto Inaros?
Inaros mains, stop being useless and play with ANY other warframe.
I love the Dale Gribble warframe. Pocket sand!
Really hard to hype up sandy tank Boi when Gauss and Revenant exist and they aren't just tanky.. they are immortal, lol
Plus, the Reeve 1 shot on acolytes was op.. the summons with mind control was broken
And guass can also benefit from near infinite ammo AND not die AND speed through the entire map, get the kill, and leave within a few minutes..
Also armor strip..
I guess you could throw parasitic armor and arcane blessing on ANY frame and turn them into inaros… since that would make them useless, too.
All the best qualities you mention of inaros… I can apply to rhino who's better, easier to get, has more viability and flexibility with helminth builds but is tankyer without helminth getting millions of armor… so…
Sorry cope addicts… inaros is MR fodder…
Get mad!
Have fun sucking off your enemies with his 2!!
And wasting mod slots for augments that should be a part of his kit!
In all seriousness!
I do hope they rework inaros chroma and hydroid before they consider adding or doing anything else.. but that's not what's gonna make them money and keep this shit going
If you’re running it under 5 digit hp. You’ve built it wrong. I love the frame for the min max opportunity. It’s a fun build
i still main him because he looks cool and i like sand
perfect for my ooga booga playstyle
Something I never see mentioned is that Pocket Sand applies a stealth multiplier to enemies, so now in the age of Innodem, Inaros is actually a really strong melee buffer. If you run Xata or Eclipse he actually has some of the highest damage potential in the game.
His fix would be simple, make his sand shadows last longer and do more dmg, cap at 10 of them. Change his passive into: a shadow will die in his place then he gain iframe for a few seconds. Done now he scale infinitely and offer extra dmg and distractions with the shadows. This simple fix would make him great i dont understand why DE haven’t done this
inaros doesnt really need a rework
Talk me off the ledge lads: I'm considering putting my one umbral forma into my inaros prime…
I think he loses out on being a good minion mancer. People who say his minions suck, one easy way to rework it is to tie health and armor with the Link mods which animal companions benefit from, have a hard cap of seven minions with slightly extended duration and get heals from his finishers. That way it encourages some active minion management.
I'm hoping his rework comes with Duviri.
inaros is fine but having to either build for strenght or survivability is big no no for me so i just picked much better frame that actually has built in PSF and can make use of xata, eclipse etc. while also being immune to any kind of damage and doesn't need any expensive arcanes…
Finally Holy Shit.. the worst warframe in the game!
His 4th ability is actually pretty good for defense cause other healing abilities are diminished on defense targets. His healing is much faster than other sources if you choose to do a defense.
still my favourite
I like dropping health mods entirely to try and play Inaros as a CC healer, but even then, he’s…pretty rough.
I advocate turning inaros into a companion tank warframe let me explain. His 1: keep the same His 2: change to a sandhawk( using sentinal mechanics but living pet using kubrow/kavat mods) that armor strips via sand scream and inaros death you become the sandhawk and has interaction with unairu's vengeance also companion uses tenno arcanes His 3 change to sandstorm is a aoe slash toggle ability (adds synergy to his passive if on at death) His 4 keep same but adds also to teammates armor rating when in range .
honestly not every frame needs to be good for super late game honestly, its kinda sad that people dont realise that as long as a charecter is fun enough to play then it doesnt nessisarily have to be good.
Inaros needs a rework, especially in terms of ability synergy and high level survivability (No frame should be relegated to low levels, that's how we got the Ember situation).
His HP-only concept is fine, but could be expanded on by pulling some stuff from Sevagoth's and Nidus's books.
Give the mummy man an actual Mummy form on death to revive himself via melee hits, for example (yes, it would be almost like Sevagoth in that sense). OR you could make it so Scarab armor acts like a pseudo-Quick Thinking: As long as he has Scarab Armor, he avoids lethal damage at the cost of some of that armor.
His 1 is fine, it has a decent range and blinds enemies, completely viable at any stage of the game.
His 2 needs to either be completely changed to something else or do some kind of scaling damage (like %HP in true damage form, for example). It could sinergize with the rest of his kit if we make it do more damage based on if you hit the enemy with another skill first.
His 3 also needs a retooling. The concept is okay until you realize you can't do anything else while you're in it, making you VERY vulnerable while also not doing nearly enough damage or CC (since Eximus don't care about CC now). Turn it into a full blown area denial skill instead, you cast it somewhere and it stays there for a duration, ragdolling or slowing enemies who try to go past it.
His 4 is mostly fine if we go with the Quick Thinking style passive, but otherwise it needs to be changed as well. Remove the need to stay still to charge it or make it MUCH faster. Also make the status immunity Augment into a base feature and change the augment to do something else.
Other ability concepts: Sand Dash ala Revenant (stuns/blinds when passing through enemies), Sand Curse (marks enemies and makes them take extra damage from all sources for a duration OR slap them with status like Voruna), Pyramid (Static beacon giving buffs/healing in an AOE), Sand Soldier (summons an allied sand shadow to fight alongside you, press X to eat it to regain health and Scarab Armor).
As an inaros main ya his 2 and 3 will need work as well as his coffin passive.
1:46 this sounds like trying to hit a word count total
Just replace sandstorm with anything and you're gold!
Not mentioning Lavos when mentioning tanks is a sin IMO, my boy never fucking dies on me in any mission.
Ah yes, the mr. I-have-a-lot-of-hp-and-thats-it.
Great for newbies, but have no purpose after clearing the star map
