"Meh" seems the overall feeling for this game. Nothing really "new", just another bullet hell, but a playable demo released when not properly finished which is NOT a good sign.
It would be nice if every weapon effect looked and felt punchier, otherwise this game looks fun. I will keep an eye on it.
I don't normally like Vampire Survivor style games, but this one looks like one I would enjoy. I like the look, concept and music. It's on my wish list.

Vampire survivors copied a game from 2019 called magesurvival, but thats a mobile game and is honestly better then vs but it also probably wasnt the first of its genre

Interesting concept , but the visuals could definitely use some improvements. This all looks too bent on shades of grey and red , and the bugs all look alike to me 😕

I think the mining drills should become permanent fortifications. Have them maintain a clear area around them and maybe have a plinker turret that would provide cover fire if you are inside the perimeter.
I’ll get this since it’s an isometric mech game, but don’t think I’m happy about it! …you see, the bastards at steam (or possibly the devs) removed, yet again, an early access game (called Armored Cavalry: Metalline) that would’ve satisfied my isometric mech game needs so I wouldn’t have to get this one.
If anyone out there happens to have a steam key for Armored Cavalry: Metalline, and is willing to sell or trade something for it PLEASE let me know, I’ve become obsessed and unstable without it😢

Great video as always. This game looks fun, I think it really needs a Dash, Jump or something for sure. I think there needs to be either a longer delay on the Eggs hatching or the area needs to be bigger maybe you start with it bigger or a powerup that increases your Hex clearing area, because it feels like you getting hit for free when they hatch because you don't start fire on them fast enough and you get hit unfairly it's not game breaking but I think they should do something. I think you're right about the Animations and hit feedback need some work esp. those the Cluster missiles you got in the second run But I can't wait to see the full game based on what you've shown.

I agree hit stun and knockback for weapons should be implemented. Not only will they make everything feel juicier, they'll give the weapons another aspect to modify and upgrade.
Pair those with slow and confuse statuses – where they move randomly in alternating directions or in circles towards the player – and you have a nice skill set to corral a hoard.
