Owen Knight, college admissions director from Bethesda, Maryland
Sami Layadi, pet cremator from Las Vegas
Elisabeth “Elie” Scott, clinical psychologist from Atlanta, Georgia
Morriah Young, teacher from Philadelphia
Jeanine Zheng, UX designer from South Hamilton, Massachusetts

  1. i can't believe we've reached a point where citing kim spradlin as a comparable winner to oneself is considered a deep pull / "from the past" 😭 (but tbf, she did indeed win almost 20 seasons / 10 years ago at this point 💀)

  2. Honestly dying on the floor is way more realistic than running into a burning building. People can have heart attacks, strokes, and other sudden medical issues. Seeing someone collapse and how you respond to that would be a powerful life experience and one too many people have had to have. Now, running into a burning building is insane. Like firefighters get cast but he makes it sound like an average life experience people older than him have.

  3. I absolutely loved how Sami recognizes his position in life and that he still has a lot to learn. So many of that age would say they can tackle anything just because they went to some prestigious university as if that was a real test of the entire world.
