  1. Laurie genuinely cares about all the sisters and he's known them so long that he's very honest about his thoughts and comfortable with them. But his real love was Jo and Jo turned him down. Years later seeing Amy all grown up, he is now attracted to her. He really ever like only 2 of the sisters. Jo first and later Amy. But he happens to be very charming which looks like he's flirting with all of them but really he's just a friend to the family and cares about the sisters.

  2. Like others have said, I think Jo is such a vulnerable and realistic character because she didn't- and never had- loved Laurie romantically, but later wants to believe that she does- just because she feels so alone. You may want to go against society's expectations, but that's going to be a difficult and lonely path when others eventually leave you to get married or start their own families. I don't think Laurie and Jo would have ever worked truly- they were childhood friends, and Laurie may have confused their childhood love for romance. Seeing Amy in a new light made him differentiate that.

  3. This is the most ecclectic reaction channel ever. What's next, Enchanted April? Another Gay Movie? Anne of Green Gables? Houseki no Kuni? Nobody knows! And that's why I love this channel!

  4. Guys you should start reacting to House of the Dragon FAST, it will really help your channel grow bc it's what everyone is talking about right now, also I know bryce was a fan of Got too so it's a win-win situation!!

  5. i loved this reaction. Also jo was never in love with laurie. she simply felt like she needed to change her mind about marrying him because she felt lonely and felt like being loved by someone even if she didn't love them back wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. she was simply settling. and i honestly thing laurie will always be in love with her.

  6. I love that the flashback has that golden orange bright color to it. Not just to show that when you’re young everything is brighter, but also to show that was when Beth was alive. She definitely was a light in all of their lives. And then when she’s gone they are in the present and it’s more dull and blue in color. Because their light is gone. 😢but at the very end when they’re all together at this new school it’s bright golden orange again which is moving on after Beth and welcoming a more brighter future

  7. I honest relate to Jo a lot. I have always hated the idea of marriage and i was so sure that i won't ever get married. But as the time flew and all my friends and cousins got married and started their own family, it's started to get a little lonely. It got to the point where i somewhat considered marrying. I don't think Jo really loved Laurie. She was just feeling lonely.

  8. Hello. I don't know where to write, so I'm writing here. I want to recommend the movie "Better days". It's a very interesting film with an important moral. He was nominated for an Oscar.
Sorry if there are errors. My English is not very good

  9. as a writer, older sibling with responsibility towards the younger ones, and a woman, I can't ever forgive Amy. no matter what Jo did or might've done in the future, what Amy did was unforgivable. even if Jo slept with Laurie, it wouldn't be as despicable as Amy burning Jo's book. especially when copying text was done manually. and Any kept getting rewarded one incident after another. she got to be a spoiled brat, got to do her art, travel w her rich aunt, have Laurie moon over her and eventually marry her.
I don't want Amy not to exist as a character, but sympathizing with her so strongly has been one of the weirdest pop culture phenomena post Gerwig's interpretation. and that's thanks to her format and editing and the way she presented the story. the book or other iterations do not invoke such strong appreciation for her character. also Pugh is too charming to make Amy unlikable. but if you catalogue what she's gone through and what she'd done in vacuum, it's not a pretty picture.

  10. Scarlet fever is still very much a thing, although rare. My brother had it as a child. It's kind of similar to strep throat but with added red rash, it's caused by bacteria. Nowadays it's easy to cure it thanks to antibiotics but back in the day not everyone had the immune system strong enough to beat it. In Beth's case she likely died from complications AFTER the scarlet fever. Even today if you don't treat infectious diseases (like flu etc.) properly you can have big problems with complications which a lot of times are heart diseases.
