  1. Disagree that Miovski wants the ball into feet, back to goal or wants a ball in the channels to run on to. He's a penalty box striker. For as good as he is at taking chances in the box, his work outwith and off the ball isnt his strong point

  2. It looks like Peter Leven has found a way for us to – at last – pick up a narrow win in a match where we haven't played well. I'd agree with keeping him in charge of the team now until we're mathematically safe from finishing in 11th place, which will hopefully be ASAP after the split. I'd have no problem if that meant the new manager is at the club but just observing what's happening on the pitch and in training and only taking decisions once we're definitely safe. We need stability and the last thing we need is yet another new manager with new ideas coming in at making changes at the most critical time of our season.

What's really cost us badly this season is losing so many avoidable late goals – if we hadn't conceded the 3 late goals away at Celtic, the 2 at St Mirren, the one at home to Kilmarnock and the one at home to St Mirren (there's probably are a few others I can't think of off the top of my head right now), then we'd be 4 points better off and our goal difference would be -7 rather than -14. If we had not lost those goals, we probably would be in with a decent chance of finishing in the top 6, and it would be in our own hands rather then having to rely on an almost impossible set of results elsewhere. Even though it would still be a poor season it wouldn't be the complete disaster it has been.
