Strategic Command WWII – Max Difficulty 1939 Allies – Episode 22

Strategic Command WWII is a true wargame involving the entire planet, in this campaign we’re battling as the allies on the hardest difficulty. Lets see how it goes. This series was sponsored by my most excellent Patreons, but especially RamgarMT and Starsign, who’s ceaseless support makes things like this possible.

It keeps me motivated to see your comments and I will also do my best to reply to all of them.

  1. You got very lucky with that italian sub and your transport, would do quite a bit of damage to the transport.

Why say no: for extra difficulty, as the allied campaign can be too easy otherwise:)

For the convoys: it is usually a good idea to max out them so the usa sends more to the uk, and the uk sends more to the ussr, also indai can send more to the uk, and the indain economy is too small for any major action on its own. (or if you want you can even reduce these convoys, not that is a great idea.)

  2. damn, that paradrop was nice, usually the ai just waste their paras in stupid drops behind the lines, at best capturing some empty cities, but nuking the the comchi was beautiful. not to mention will be quite painful as at least one natchi unit trapped in a very bad position, and you cannot really lose any of them.

  3. Interesting forward defense for USSR and a lot of forts you managed to build across the whole front. You can delay and keep more territory for longer and it worked out pretty well but it might be time to retreat in relative order while not all forces are broken yet. USSR buys some more time for new troops, main goal. It probably makes sense to leave troops in those still intact fort hexes to slow down advances for a turn or two, even if they could get surrounded and destroyed
