  1. Half way through, awesome. OP is as weird as the dude. If he isn’t weirder. Some people just like going for a ride I guess. Lonely people without a life I guess. Haven’t a clue where this is going, which is why I'm loving it, ps. This computer voice is prob the best one Mn crew. Hope you are all well. I'm doing a crap job at falling asleep, despite Xanax's help.

  2. It would've been cool if he described his cyclops mom with three nostrils at the end – to suggest an obscure world (ours) got his message out of his cyclops world and not his home world

  3. Hey, Midnight Crew! I remember thinking this story was real back in the day, before the author turned up and ruined everything. It's pretty believable in a sense. I used to watch people on public transportation all the time. Nowadays I walk everywhere. My work is at home and most of my friends live in a 10 km radius. So I totally lost that people watching skill. It was pretty fun. Sometimes I spotted people secretly doing all sorts of crazy and disgusting stuff. Really seemed like AU aliens. But I don't miss those days overall. Cuz I had to work at an office, and right now I'm my own boss. Offices really do crush something inside you, even the good ones. Like, I worked at a bad office which made me anxious, forced me to stop believing in myself, made me hate people around me, especially the boss, made me forget I had self-worth, etc. Then I got to working in a good office with friendly people. Well, next thing I knew I had a really toxic relationship with a co-worker that ended painfully, and then the tax-man closed us down, and since most of us were good friends before then, we suffered terribly. So yeah, office = bad. Nowadays I'm in a much calmer and saner place, working by myself for myself. And whenever I want to take a walk, I can go into the woods. I live literally 5 minutes away from a pretty large forest. Now I'm honing a new skill – trail spotting. Some trails used by animals are very hard to spot, but they are there. And sometimes when you follow them you find really cool stuff. And to think back in my big city days I hated and feared the woods. So weird. It's like… I can't imagine myself hating the woods, but I did, I honestly did for like 20+ years. Although maybe I feared them because I thought of myself as weak. I'm pretty weak nowadays too, but I don't feel it. Nowadays I feel the opposite. When I see other people in the woods, like even large-ish groups of drunk teenagers or some weird hobo, like we get sometimes during summer, I don't get the feeling like 'I wanna run back into the comfy well lit city'. I usually just avoid them, most of the times unseen and unheard. I love moving in the thicket, in the places where there are always shadows, just breathing, listening to the birds and the animals, thinking about stuff. Some days I think that if more people had this much access to nature, the world would be a better place. Do any of you like forests?

  4. God I love this channel! Your content is what gets me through work and working out every day, no joke. My fellow gym patrons must think I’m crazy based off how my face looks sometimes when I’m listening to things like this 😅

  5. ~ Prayer to Shin'nai ~
    Shin'nai-san's guardians are…
One, snake, two, monkey, three, crow, four, spider.
Five, prepare for the feast when the evening mists arrive.
Six, the badger runs along late with nare as a fix.
Seven, the corrupt yomibito rise to oppose the mountain.
Eight, death of the damned yomibito is the mandate.
Nine, one soul per day now to bind.
Ten, the mists rise away again.

  6. One of the first memorable things I ever read on /x/. Crazy that you covered it but crazy that it took you so long to. Pretty nice to see it read either way

  7. OP is the world's worst interdimensional traveller. The advice his teacher gave him? "Act like nothing's going on and you're invisible." His approach? "Freak out at everything and routinely cause a scene."
