  1. I legit just watched this video and I get a nux review suggestion after clicking home page. Nice. Sometimes the youtube shitmachine actually is able to do its job and give people what they want instead of slapping their face with trash content till they click it to downvote everything suggested so Youtube knows that they wont put up with their shit.
Remember the good ol days when you had to search in the searchbar to find what you were interested? Oh wait thats what it is right now? I meant back when yotube was good

  2. A while ago I was thinking of making a manga where the 'main character' dies every episode and is replaced by someone seemingly random. Ye thats what the manga "Record Of Rangarok" is but basically better than I could ever think up in absolutely every single way possible

  3. Narrator Lady in the actual show sounds like a documentary narrator. Maybe not the best path to take for a narrator? I'll take the 4Kids One Piece narrator from that intro over that! Although I feel that was a stylistic choice.

  4. There really are some poorly animated scenes but I still love this series. You become emotionally invested in almost every challenger and the concept of men fighting gods in n 1v1 is 🤌

  6. I watched the anime, and read the complaints about it, so I decided to read the manga and I just have to say, to me both the manga and anime is boring, and I don't understand the complaints because the anime is shot for shot like the manga.

  7. And then humanity chooses their ultimate warrior: Alondro

It was a horrible mistake, for Alondro sided with the gods and brought hell to Earth… which was later named 'New Jersey'.

  8. My favorite Exposition scene ever has to be Brock when Ash fought Morty and commented on every Pokemon as it came out.
    "That Gastly is pretty Powerful"
"Gastly was strong, but Haunter is much straonger."
"Gastly and Haunter were tough, but Gengar is way more powerful then both of them!"

  9. Definitely record of Ragnarok is one of those big projects they could had have the rights of the next one punch man or attack on Titan but they ball dropped hard I'm 100% sure they could have cancelled alot of trash projects if money was an issue

  10. I know Gigguk and Mother's Basement have both gone on record saying that the actual footage they were shown for that sponsored review was HEAVILY edited and didn't even come close to reflecting the actual show. They have since gone on to be rather angry with Netflix for using them as a prop to make the show look better than it actually is IIRC.

  11. The paid YouTubers part is just cherry on top lol. If anything I'm surprised anyone who watches those guys actually can discern a good show from a bad one. That's quite an achievement tbh. Considering they themselves have a hard time discerning actual quality beyond the safe mainstream answers for what is "masterpiece of anime". And these days, everything is 'masterpiece'…

  12. I still love this anime. Nothing is above criticism, but I feel like scam just didn’t like the pacing. I loved the pacing, stretching the fights out only adds to the suspense. Watch this with a few buddies and you’re in for a good time.

  13. (Spoiler 🚨)I did like adams back story and that they showed us why he hates the gods And seeing him go into that court room and eat one bite of every apple and then spit it on the floor had me in tears from the complete disrespect he had for the court and then damn sour apples.

  14. I still can’t believe Ani-Tuber stans will actually defend those goddamn sell out that don’t give a fuck about their existence and say they were shown different footage or what ever BS Netflix told the Ani-Tubers to say, I’ve long since unsubscribed to A lot of them, because they became unfunny parodies of themselves or regurgitate everything they see on Reddit, not because they were purposely selling themselves out to a less than mid adaptation of a beloved manga.

  15. I feel the same way, animation wise, with Way of the Househusband (also a Netflix anime): the writing for the show is absolutely hilarious and really wholesome at times, but the animation is absolute shit to the point it made me stop watching. I’d argue it’s even worse than Record of Ragnorok because at least those characters somewhat moved and we’re animated, however little they were. Househusband literally felt like a slideshow presentation where character mouths moved and if they did move, it looked like a jpeg being dragged across a screen.

When adapting a manga to animated format, you should at the VERY LEAST make sure the animation is good or decent. You don’t have to be Mappa or Trigger levels of animation, nobody should expect that level of quality all the time, but give us SOMETHING! It just feels lazy when they pull this shit with things like Househusband and Ragnorok.

  16. Record of Ragnarok the manga, got me to reading more mangas and the anime although not a masterpiece as people want it to be. It still makes me appreciate the fights and the characters even more.

Sasaki Kojiro vs Poseidon, It wasn't my favourite fight out of all of the others but the anime got me to appreciate it more and moved me, Sasaki Kojiro even became my dad's favourite character.

  17. (please don't kill me for this) but i actually enjoy the anime, i get hyped up really quickly and i don't have astronomical animation standards so i actually had fun watching it

  18. I respect ur opinion!

As a RoR fan, I really like this anime, in fact i ,,REALLY" enjoyed the anime I've never liked other anime, and the manga is fire.I agree some of ur opinion, S1 was the biggest disappointment. S2 is peak and nowadays, people are attracting attention from this anime and it's becoming more and more popular! S2 is better than S1, I don't care about the "animation" or the "bad adaptation", I just love this anime. And the CGI is kinda cool, it was better than the "slideshow" in S1. The studio who animated this show doesn't deserve the hate they're getting. The art is fantastic and I love how they took their time with each individual fights. Anime fans nowadays all got ADHD istg. I loved the first 10 episodes of season 2, can't wait for the last 5 episodes. hyped af✨️

  19. Haven’t watched the anime, but read the manga. Think the whole thing was overhyped. Like, sure, the anime did it dirty. Looks like a freak’n slide show. But the manga itself doesn’t have enough actual story. It was a good read, but not something I’d not look back on afterwards. (Besides Jack and Hercules.)

I get the criticism of people bringing up the “inaccuracies” in backstories, but in a way it’s actually important. The story is carried hard by those characters. But change those characters enough and they’re not themselves. It could still work with more story outside of the fights, and they try to do that with flashbacks, but it feels very disjointed.

That said, I’m a fan of stories with tons of threads, following multiple characters during the same period of time (not backstory). Know plenty of people who find that sort of thing annoying to follow.
