Telegraph journalist Allison Pearson was notified on Remembrance Sunday by the police that she is under investigation for a tweet from a year ago. When Elon Musk found out, he tweeted β€œthis must stop”. Allison is just one of tens of thousands across the country in this position, with tens of thousands of Brits having non-crime hate incidents placed on their records which mean they may never get a job.

  1. It's laws and procedures like this that drives people underground and the authorities know sod all until a civil war starts. The authorises are so far out of touch they are out of touch entirely with the mass of feeling. The ordinary man in the street are really up in arms at the government of all shades.

  2. Who would have thought this could happen 5 or 10 years ago. The Tories have a lot to answer for. I know labour are in power but if the Tories did their jobs we wouldn't be in this crap.

  3. In the U.S., censorship is done through algorithms applied to various social app platforms. It seems like only conservative voices and the people doing the censorship are aware of it.

β€œβ€¦ and that is why it’s the first Amendment in America. Freedom of speech is the most important thing in a democracy.”

Yeah. Our founding fathers learned a lot about freedom. And that’s why they put β€œThe right bare arms”, as the second amendment. The 2nd Amendment gives citizens a fighting chance of overthrowing a corrupted government that tries to violate the rights of citizens.

If you’re going to do anything about it there, you’d better get on with it before it’s too late. Because you are largely an unarmed population, your ability to fight back will become more difficult with every day you wait.

  4. The police which has literally been morphed into a 'Stasi' must be brought under public control. Not appropriate for the government to control our police anyway. Then we can prosecute our devious politicians and Oligarchs for the awful crimes they commit against us. The Stasi police are not our police – they are the states.

  5. The system of recording "non-crime hate incidents" in the UK was introduced under the Conservative government in 2014 through guidelines by the College of Policing. So whos wagging the tail?? this is a stitchup at all levels you cannot trust any MP's there just hopeless at making laws its that simple

  6. Surely police are inciting violence by investigating someone like Allison Pearson. People are getting really tired of this tyranny.
As Rowan Atkinson said, ""WHAT IS WRONG WITH INCITING INTENSE DISLIKE OF A RELIGION IF THE ACTIVITIES OR TEACHINGS OF THAT RELIGION ARE SO OUTRAGEOUS, IRRATIONAL OR ABUSIVE OF HUMAN RIGHTS THAT THEY DESERVE TO BE INTENSELY DISLIKED?"
