  1. I’m a hairdresser and also color my hair black, I went through a hair change this past year too 😂. CPR will only bring your current color to its most faded version of itself. Use a real color remover before bleach. Get “colour undo” if you can or “color oops” if you can’t.

  2. I discovered audible years ago for the exact same reason, to listen to when I was laid up w a migraine but unable to sleep thru it. It’s soooo great! I also listen while working and usually have one book on audible and another I’m reading when I feel like actually using my eyeballs 😂 it’s a great app, and a nice change from podcasts YT etc.

  4. For me, listening to books does "count" because I could still discuss the books I read with a physical reader, it wouldn't affect our dialogue about the story.
I like audiobooks for the purposes of multitasking; I've always been a big reader and do love curling up with a book in hand, but life gets busy and I don't always have time to sit and read. I put on audiobooks while I fold laundry, do dishes, water my garden, etc. It allows me to get SO many more books throughout a year than I would be able to with solely physical reading.

  5. Love your vlogs! Also I think it’s a great idea to get your hair professionally done after years of black color. I used to do hair and I have dark hair so believe me it’s always best! And maybe they can use olaplex and that can help keep the hairs integrity. Also loooove the color of those nails as well! I also appreciate you always linking everything! Love your recommendations

  6. I’m an older follower and I love when you have a new video. I suffer from migraines and chronic kidney stones. I love that you still travel and you don’t let your pain stop you. I love makeup, travel, and fashion. Your videos are always great and I’m interested to the very end. I’ve spent a lot on makeup and will always try something new. I appreciate you.

  7. You got me in this vlog, Taylor! I watch all your vlogs, but must confess – I wasn't really interested in the hair dye segment, so I thought I might just skip over that part. You got me, though, when I realized you were talking about your most recent reads. (Always a highlight, "in my book," of your vlogs!) I just finished Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and found my feelings on that book matched yours. I'm always looking for good and interesting reads (that I can find on Libby!) so thanks for your latest book reviews! 🙂

  8. That would be cool if you have a roadrunner visiting you they have long tails and usually live in old cactus and you don’t see them very often I’ve lived in Arizona for over 30 years and i have only seen them a handful of times, so it's nice to see them i get so excited because they are adorable quails too because they’re babies are mine and follow behind the mom. Hope you had fun Phoenix isn’t really all that to stay at next time maybe try Gilbert, Mesa or Queen Creek. Have fun in Spain on your best friend trip. 😊

  9. I'm 90% gray but it was under 15+ years of henna. It took a while for my stylist and I to work our way to my natural color. In the end it only took 1 round of color removal and two rounds of gentle bleach to get my hair blonde enough to tone it to match my gray as it grows out. I'm so happy I went light, I was totally over beating back my roots every 3-5 weeks. And I'm glad I trusted my stylist. The day I decided to do it was a little impulsive but we had been making plans for a long time.

  10. I may or may not be late to the game but I just found a dupe for the way too expensive Bum Bum cream for 6 dollars….Trader Joe’s has a Brazil Nut Body Butter. That smells the same and is just as hydrating and creamy… try it out side by side and you give your opinion

  11. My favorite thing to do for my black haired clients when they’re needing a change, is install 1 or 2 rows of IBE extensions of a lighter color! It makes it look SO good without any damage whatsoever! I would say to look into it 👏🏻

  12. I like the huda beauty glowish for the glowy look …in #4 for a tanner shade it has this weird cool tone in it that I cant find in others. Its light coverage so i mix it with other foundations to adjust color sometimes if im more taned.

  13. LOVED everything in this VLOG! I don’t know if it’s because I’m about to do my hair at home again, and I always enjoy you putting your make up on as well. And of course I love the hauls from Sephora and Ulta and everything else you did.!! Also, I don’t know if you ever read the comments when I tell you I have chronic migraines as well. Mine are nowhere near as bad as yours, but I still go through a couple of prescriptions of Imitrex within a month so I can always relate to that as well.

  14. Omg you went to my old Sephora! I just moved from Phoenix to Seattle and your vlogs are making me miss home. Biltmore area is so great and you’re probably super close to Scottsdale which has some great food too!

Also if you were having issues with your migraines in Phoenix don’t get discouraged health wise. Half the reason I moved was because my Neurologist said the atmospheric pressure in Phoenix is higher than most places due to the heat (?) I may have the info a bit incorrect but once we moved I could tell Phoenix really does make my migraines much worse. I’m sorry you had such a tough time though.

  15. As a hairstylist I was like pleaseeee don't try to do it yourself 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I'm glad you decided to wait and have it professionally done! Especially with black hair color. It will be a process and pricey but, it's always worth it!
