Stolen Forklift Accident Lands Near Railroad Tracks. There are times when my big powerful rotators just can’t do the job. Not physically, of course, but because of SPACE! The big 4 axle monsters obviously can’t fit into every driveway or alleyway, or in this case a no-access road leading to the back of a warehouse. The owners of this shop had a break in overnight and in the process they somehow backed up the forklift out the back dock.
This is where I come in the following morning, and after scouting all possible options, decided to bring in Joe with our 16ton 2axle medium duty wrecker. This versatile truck was just small enough to cross the tracks quickly and safely with the use of wood. Once backed up, both lines were used to lift and catch the forklift then rear tow it around the block.
From here, they wanted it inside of the dock. At first thought, a flatbed would be a great choice. But with the unit not running, you would not be able to push it off. Since I had Hulk, my 50ton rotator, already on scene it was a no brainer. I made one quick adjustment by removing the snatch blocks, to allow me to boom up and inside the dock with the forklift and get it in the exact spot they wanted.
It’s different from the normal heavy duty recoveries I post weekly, but hoping you guys still enjoy this cool little battle.

In a bind – send Mr. Coffee. That's an inside joke, a subscriber has to have been a fan for at least 3 years to catch that Punchline. On one job good Coffee spilled fast
Smallest rollover
At first I thought that was just some run down industrial rail spur, but it's a main line track, fully signaled with Centralized Traffic Control. Just wow.
That was some impressive driving by Joe.
Yeah it's a different world in the rear of some of these places in the city
What a mess!
Good driving Joe.
TOO RISKY TO DAMAGE TRUCK, TIRES, URSELVES!!
The homeless, the Dem curse that keeps on taking.
Didn'r see the Monkey nor the football!!! This guy is a PIA owner
Hey Josh. I was a certified forklift op. Even if the battery was dead the forks should have been able to be lowered without the motor running. Gravity would have taken it down by using the lever.
So what was the name of the bigger tow truck?
Tricky
Sure he needs ur instructions
Great job Love all your videos I remember broken the day when I used to drive Four car carrier You used to pick up at your yard Love tow trucks Especially big flipper
Another impressive job well done by the great team at Pepe’s Towing !
Did you check the oil before trying to start it?? Here is your lift back. The thives did a little damage but we blew the motor…
Let me find out you like grabbing Joe's wood
Did you take it out of gear to crank? Good thing it didn't start since all the oil probably leaked out.
Your videos never disappoint.
