It's highly possible to save everyone on the Ragana – when talking to the Captain use the <UC SysDef> option and he'll hand Austin over to the Vigilance, letting you lie to Maeva about him being dead. You need to follow the quest until you get to the choice that lets you pick which side you're on XD The Frontier is arguably better than the Starborn Guardian as you can upgrade the Frontier by yourself and the Guardian can only be upgraded by going through the Unity again (Upto a max level of Guardian VI). Even then, it's still pretty crap.

  4. I had no idea the CF quest could be started like that, although it's funny the UC is willing to put their bets on someone convicted of petty larceny, lol. It is a lot more fun than the Freestar quest but there is a lot more running around between different locations. My favorite part though was the collection of evidence for the UC, they're not marked and it's honestly best to look up where to find them but if you decide to side with the UC, you can help imprison more members of the CF by the end of the questline.
