What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for Youtube, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

  1. Horses and donkeys are different species, though genetically they're roughly 85-90% similar. For reference, humans share about 99% our DNA with chimpanzees, because we split from the same ancestor species relatively recently evolutionarily speaking (roughly 6-7 million years ago). Fun fact, a large portion of people of European descent have neanderthal DNA in them due to crossbreeding prior to neanderthal extinction roughly 40,000 years ago. Granted, at this point it's only 1-2% neanderthal DNA, but yeah.

  2. I unlocked smithy 3 before the mine on my play through, I mined myself so I had the village's making, copper then bronze, i used the end of season sleep teleport to do my mining. I also had fur boots being crafted as soon as possible, they only take fur and leather so my hunters supplied my sewing hut. Also quests supply lots of technology, typically I would walk around with a copper hammer and a recurve bow if you get those 2 quests in a season that is like 400-500 production tech

  3. need one farmer per 100 plots that are attached so ideally 10×10 plots each plot you put down needs a separate farmer so not effecicent to make lots of small farms as you'll need more people to produce less

  4. Animal feed is going to be a pain in the but, hard to balance.
Talking to your people and asking what they like in jobs as there first choice , may help finding there highest mood. But even buildings around the village not being repaired can play a part in there mood i believe.

  5. With how much flax you have coming in you should look into making clothes and seeing what they sell for. Same for fur and wool when the sheep start producing a decent amount. Maybe even cotton clothing. Could be a huge increase in your profits. You also mentioned orchards a few episodes back. Be great to see some apple and plumb trees. Maybe even a vineyard so you can sell wine.

  6. If you really want to make money, farm lots of flax seeds and use your farming skills to unlock all 3 levels of the “skilled farmer”. With that skill you have 100% chance to farm extra crops. When you harvest the Flax, you will get more seeds back than you planted and the flax themselves. You can sell some of the extra flax seeds you get back, plus use the flax to craft clothes. I recommend crafting shirts since they only require linen thread and fabric which come from the flax you farmed. You can make 10s of thousands of coins easy

  7. Great video…thank you. Glad someone is still putting out videos on this game. I have it on Xbox and love it so far. Just got the ability to build a mine, but still only have 10/10 buildings…unfortunately. I really hate that I can’t just build as many buildings as I want😂

  8. Horses and Donkeys are genetically very different and because of that are considered different species. The Mule is just a hybrid between the two. Mules are bred specifically because they have a higher tolerance and stamina than a normal househorse. I believe, but don't quote me on that, that they are not as headstrong as donkeys and easier to work with.
Fun fact: It seems that in english then name is always mule, while in German the cross between a male horse and a female donkey I called "Maulesel" (Muledonkey if you translate it 1 to 1). With a male donkey and female horse it's called "Maultier" (Muleanimal)

  9. A mule is a hybrid of a female horse and a male donkey, a hybrid of a male horse and female donkey is called a hinny. Horses have 64 chromosomes and a donkey has 62. They are bred because they are a lot hardier than either parents and stronger so can withstand a lot more. They’re less likely to scare than horses and apparently not as stubborn as donkeys. They are 99.9% infertile although there have been very rare cases where the Hinny has given birth. I didn’t know any of this until I watched your video and de used to read up on it so not only got entertainment but also learnt something completely new today! 🙂

  10. With the farms, look at the corners of the ones you built. The one closest to the road is 1 space away on the Y axis and 0 spaces away on the X axis (going up the hill). That's why the 3rd farm is 1 space out at the top of the hill.

  11. Fun fact: horses have 64 chromosomes, donkeys have 62 and mules have 63. Mules are usually infertile, but there are a few rare cases of female mules being fertile. Mules are bred because they're larger than donkeys and make better pack animals. It's not weird that different animals are interbred, people have been creative with genetics since forever 😂

  12. I actually sold my potage and made some good money selling the extra potage and raw meat. It's good money! I have plenty of manure and only have 1 adult pig, working on maybe doing a second fold slinging that wool! once I increase my sheep numbers, i'll do the second fold with just goats. bc ya know. cheese is amazing.
