  1. EA is great at screwing over PC players, look at Madden they give the Consoles a BETTER VERSION of the game and the PC players get the older version despite having much better Hardware.

  2. Sadly game companies can get away with awful launches because they can just release patches to fix a game later on after it is released. Could you imagine EA doing this in the old school days when PC games were released on disks and then have to print entirely new disks to fix all the bugs they missed? That is the one bad part about downloading games online.

  3. It was clearly rushed, as usual 🙁 And they prioritize consoles, as many do 🙁

For a digital only, on PC the price is too high… republic 🙄
In this case, I await a potato version of the game :))

  4. No one should spend over triple what it costs for a console, then have to wait 6 months to a year after the console game release. That is just an abusive relationship at that point.

This is why I said I'm questioning if I should even upgrade my PC this generation. I'm sitting on a Ryzen 21700x and a 2080ti. At this point its not so much upgrading as rebuilding the whole PC. That being said, why would I rebuild the whole PC and spend around 2 grand when every new game release is getting similar performance to a PS5? I might as well just stick it out with my current build for another few years and MAYBE rebuild when the PS6 is getting ready to launch Then I could build a mid range PC and see noticeable improvement over my current build, plus get a better idea of where PC gaming is going.

  5. I'm sorry for everyone having such a horrible experience with such a great game. I had to tinker with the settings a bit, get the day one patch, and get the latest Nvidia drivers, and now it runs great for me. Keep in mind my setup is decent but nothing crazy, Ryzen 7 3800x 32gb of ram and a GTX 1660 Super. So I don't know what's going on with everyone else.

  6. That's sad. I've been waiting for this game ever since I finished Fallen Order because I loved it so much. It's hard when you get that excited for a game for it to be ruined by technical issues.

  7. No way this game looks as good as Horizon Forbidden West. To be running this bad damn shame pc gaming has become trash seems like the best place to play it just like Calisto is the PS5 cause even the Xbox series X has frame rates issues.

  8. In the end, a person can simply choose to not buy any of these games with bad launches. I learned my lesson from Battlefield 4, and I don't intend to forget it anytime soon.

  9. If games just works well from release, i will gladly pay full price. But over the years I learned the hard way.

Just pirate the game when it’s cracked, and the buy the game later on for 75% off.

I’m so tired of all those bad pc port, and lazy developers trying to get full price for sh*t

  10. it's amazing how Guerilla games can make a 120Hz Horizon forbidden west densely packed open world graphics on PS5, while this struggles to hit stable 60Hz on a top end 13900k Rtx4090 system

  11. Here we go it's that time of year again all the Youtubers talking about a broken game, but will still happily take a free copy then make a load of videos then stream it to milk out all the cash, it's like you want games to be broken.

  12. No, I think we have to set expectations to be the same as Consoles, If they are getting a working version of the game that runs Very well all the time, Then why alienate the pc fanbase that only want the same, except we have Better hardware then the consoles so its Unreasonable to think That game would Run better on PC, Unfortunately Logic isn't Game devas strong point.

  13. My specs are i9-9900K, 64gb ram, XFX Speedster Merc 319 6900 XT Limited Black with 2tb nvme ssd. I have no issues at all, I got motion blur off, chromatic aberration off. 4K 60fps and it works perfectly fine. So must be an Nvidia issue.

  14. I'm not sure what's going on with performance on other people's PCs, but I'm playing the game at 1440p with a mix of high and epic settings with ray tracing on, and it's running beautifully. The game is utilizing all CPU cores and threads, and hitting 100% GPU utilization (HWmonitor). My specs are: R7 5800x, RTX 4070 Ti, 32GB DDR4-3600 CL14, Windows 10 Pro, and a Gen 3 NVME SSD. Max VRAM usage so far is 7.6GB.

  15. tried playing the game at launch last night and crashed 3 times in a hour of playing with major dips as well. Settings did absolutely nothing. 3700x and 3070 can't even run 1080p low settings super performance FSR literally makes no sense, worst performance i have ever experienced. Played through ea play pro at least

  16. I kinda figured it was gone be a shitty port so I dropped the 15$ for ea play pro so I’m not that mad cuz I didint buy the game I think I’m going to beat it and then wait until it gets patched all the way to start new game plus

  17. Soft bigtory of low expectations.

Can't expect game companies to deliver a good product, so let us all condone their greed and incompetence. That's what the argument boils down to.
