The concept for the Starship System isn’t a single craft. Instead, SpaceX wants to create a true Interplanetary Transport System which would be made up of a fleet of spacecraft, rockets and refuelers to shuttle humanity to Mars.
Elon Musk used the 67th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Guadalajara, Mexico, to go into details about SpaceX’s ambitious plan to colonise Mars in the next decade.
