Should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle be on Palace balcony for the coronation? | Palace Confidential

Should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle be on Palace balcony for the coronation? | Palace Confidential. Palace Confidential discuss the latest details to be announced about King Charles III coronation celebrations. For Richard Eden, restricting Buckingham Palace’s balcony to just working royals, is a missed opportunity. ‘I would invite everyone, apart from Harry and Meghan,’ he says. ‘It might sound a bit extreme [but] they can come to the coronation service… if they were up on the balcony with everyone else, it would cause uproar, you’d probably have snipers or something… Why make this concession just because of Harry and Meghan? I don’t think that they deserve it.’
PLUS Daily Mail Royal Editor Rebecca English gives us a round-up of the week’s royal engagements, and Robert Hardman, Mail columnist and biographer of the Queen, gives us his insight into the new coronation plans.

  2. Ridiculous to think the despicable duo would be invited…Monteshitshow PR yet again they just can’t stop ‘leaking’ stories supposedly from the Palace. No one wants them here ever again…a drug addict & a mattress narcissist

  3. Look at Richard, threading that fine line with Andrew. He has his head so far up the royals backsides you don’t know if it’s him talking or the royals. He is so transparent!

  4. Of course Richard Eden wants The Full Monty! Mr. Opulence wants his broke country to throw a massive party so he can feel important through “association”with the royals. All while people are struggling to afford to heat their homes. Predictable snob!

  5. If I were Meg and Harry,I would stay home in the U.S.The Brits may want to kill you. Also there is the stepmother of yours called the warthog. What a ugly woman that the press is putting a spin on.I would not go back there even if I were paid big money.Too dangerous.

  6. There is bound to be a lot of boos for those two, it would spoil the day for the rest of the royals. They haven’t only attacked the RF but Brits too and why shouldn’t they make their feelings known but for everyone’s benefit they shouldn’t go on the balcony. It seems the King is prostrating himself to those two and whilst yes they have to make peace there needs to be some apologies from Harry

  7. The fact that Great Britain’s monarch is the last in at least Europe to crown their kings and queens in a coronation is something very, very special and should be protected from too much modernizing. I hope it will still be a glittering event with pageantry, tiaras, gowns, uniforms (but NOT on the King!), peers’ coronets, etc etc.

  9. as someone who has >1 citizenship, I wonder what is the citizen status of the Duchess of Sussex and the two children. This is in light of continued speculation as to the birth details of both children and the rights of one parent over another in the case of a divorce. what protection (citizenship) do the children have. Thank you.

  10. Lovely pictures of the Queen's coronation. I am looking forward to seeing a peaceful dignified coronation for KC, with all its pageantry, pomp and ceremony. Greetings from 🇨🇦

  11. It’s almost like you’re all tone deaf. The Prince and Princess of wales shows up at a food bank empty handed. The Princess mumbles because she ca barely put two sentences together. They are wasting time of staff that could be better spent
