Saga Soundtrack Update!

The WolfQuest Saga adds more than an hour of new music to the game and we’ve now added these new tracks to the WolfQuest Soundtrack, which is available for purchase on Steam or itch.io. The price is still US $10! If you already have the soundtrack, it should update automatically on Steam. If you bought it on itch.io, go to your download page on itchio for the soundtrack and download the whole package again. (Go here to have your purchase receipt email sent to you again, look under “Recover Purchases” https://itch.io/support)

Most of these new tracks are by Tim Buzza, and they are classic WolfQuest — but now with banjo! The banjo represents the young hunter pups learning to hunt elk, exploring their wilderness world, and just lazing around. But we also persuaded Ben Woolman to create some tracks with Fingerstyle guitar. So with over an hour of new music, the WolfQuest Soundtrack now has nearly four hours of music! Many thanks to everyone who has bought, or will buy, the soundtrack and other DLC — your support really helps us keep developing the game!

  1. Imagine a random human gamer coming across this game and playing it not knowing how the game was made. They'd definitely know how loved this one game is after they've played their first year

  2. Honestly, never been one to get game soundtracks, but I might just have to because I LOVE the WolfQuest music! Might see if anyone in my family is willing to get it for me as a gift.😊

  4. This game is quite literally the only game I play with music turned on. The amount of love, care, and genuine intelligence that it takes to make a soundtrack like WolfQuest’s is crazy!! I love how deep the feelings are, and how I can hear the story through the music, even as an instrumental. Thank you to the team for being so amazing, and Buzza, you are so so so cool!!!!!

  5. I'm wondering whether the team benefits more from sales made via itchio than from Steam, or vice versa? I'm finally ready to buy the game, and would really like to pick the better option for you guys. All DLCs included. I've been following the development of the game for so long, you all truly deserve it. The amount of work has been astounding all along

  7. Hello! Since i downloaded the saga, i’ve been playing. (Started the save yesterday) i decided to join a pack. Cottonwood Creek, Hellroaring Mountain. Killed the male leader, and got with the female, who i named Ivory. I noticed the pack was VERY bold and struggling. I had my first litter (just did it like before, i was spending lots of time in Young Hunters) I haven’t named ANY of the wolves, not even the pups of the year that are now yearlings. I will name the little pups, though. I found an elk herd while sitting at the den, so i’ll hunt after this comment. Going great so far, no struggles right now. (I started off with 7 wolves, pups of year, yearlings, and subs included + my mate) but one pup, 1602M, died from being TOO BOLD when i was at a hex invasion. 1600M was almost always sitting around 20% health while at the last quarter of Young Hunters.. i wont be surprised if all yearlings die xd but hopefully my litter of 4 pups (all females) wont be so bold. Love the game, excited for some more updates!

  8. WolfQuest music is so good. I am a sleeper agent and the Mother and Baby track for hunting newborn ungulates is my trigger. I can't hear that music without dropping whatever I'm doing and going on the hunt.

  9. Erm off topic, but i was playing with one of my wolves i made in 2022 a couple hours ago i was playing with my pups and stuff (during the growing pups quest) and a coyote attacked, i woofed my pups into the grass, they went in the grass expect for herb (my pup with an npc coat wow) was like "naw.. GET OUT!!" and decided to attack the coyote, and it was so funny for some reason

  10. I love the dispersal courting music, it was such a pleasant surprise while I was playing! Made one of the pups heading out to start their own pack all the more bittersweet 😅

  11. I‘ve played wolfquest since I was 12, and I probably spent a few hundred hours at least on the 2.7 version. I’m 20 now and still in love with the game. Thank you for all of your hard work you put into this game!

  12. I was in game and I was SO excited to play the new saga, when I heard the music, can't pinpoint exactly which one, you just hear it when roaming around with the young hunter pups, I LOVED IT. I LOVE THE MUSIC! If I wasn't broke, I'd definitely buy the Soundtrack just to support you guys! The music is so nice, I love the feeling that I feel after hearing it, it really makes me come back to the game! I have 327.9 hours on this game, around 500 hours on a different account I use to play on and I LOVE IT! KEEP GOING! Thank you for the dedication to the game! I'm so excited to hear these in game!

edit : The music he first plays and the background is the wolves hunting, that is my FAVOURITE.
