  1. I'm almost done with heartland right now. I'm on the last plaque wall. Just a heads up, there are a limited number of characters, and they all have a nice special skill. You will want to make sure to build the base upgrade associated with their skill before getting them killed. You will also want to build a staging area pretty early to keep from paying building material upkeep.

    It's not exactly true that you have a limited amount of resources on the map. You can still do Cleo drops and when you call out on the radio you can have whatever mat you're looking for loaded into houses even if you already searched them.
