  1. if you've ever worked for a production company, you know that it was inevitable for offbrands to disband. For some reason, not a single one makes money. Even the big dogs at insomiac are having a horrible time right now. I work for one that mainly focuses in music; festivals, parties and every thing under that umbrella. I've watched many others come and fail just for another to take its place and suffer the same fate. The countless amounts of people that work for manufacturers all saying "yeah, I had a production company when I was younger for about 4 years". This was just purely par for the course and had nothing to do with being a co-op.

  2. Honestly if i was laid off and my CEO laid it out like this, id be cool with it. I understand a company cant sustain a dying arm just to pay employees salary, it is what it is.

  3. Probably wouldn’t have changed the outcome, because of the demographic of streamers. But, In hindsight the company became more of a marketing agency more than anything else Where consumers should expect to loose money and gain followers rather than pay an amount and gain more cash than they put in.

  4. How were leads procured for your business?
If I were a streamer wanting to do an event how would I get in contact with your business and what did the process look like?
How many total events were held?
What were the rough margins of the business? (Expenses, labor, profit etc)

  5. Really sad to hear, but also kind of mind boggling to think that you started a business without actually studying the market you wanted to participate in, it's a shame but still excited for future offbrand games projects
