Rob Parker – LeBron Doesn't Affect Winning Enough For Lakers to Make an Investment He Wants

THE ODD COUPLE – Rob Parker and Martin Weiss (in for Chris Broussard) debate if LeBron James is worth the Lakers making a major trade to help him win when James may not even have the ability to carry teams like he used to.

  1. What you do it trade Bron AD and Russ and start over with Ten players that you can pay with those three players money 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰 because not a single one of them is worth max deals and it's pathetic and all you Bron fanboys look more pathetic each day

  2. I would trade lebron and Davis. Keep westbrook because his contract is up next year anyway.. lakers should look towards the future now while they can. Of course, this will not happen; if they did trade lebron it would be the biggest story in history.

  3. Man not a single person said the lakers would be good if they trade Lebron. Get out of your emotions and listen. There’s no point on trading the team away for the 3rd time to maybe make the playoffs this year. It’s simple Lebron isn’t bad but him getting everyone traded before is the reason why he is miserable now.

  4. The reason LA wins anything is cause of AD. Not Lebron. They missed the playoffs before he got there. Win it the next year with him. Then get bounced out the first when he goes down then missed the playoffs when he's injured. Never thought i would see a Lebron lead team not even be able to make the playoffs. No matter who he has on the court.

  5. Jeezus – how many times are you gonna bash Lebron? The dude is freakin 38 !!!!!! He can’t carry a bunch of no name dude any longer. He is not supposed to be carrying a team but he can still be a key player in a team. The funny thing is no other player can either . Can Steph do it without Poole or Klay? Can KD do it without Kyrie? Every great player needs a good team – period . Stop moving the goal posts with LeBron . The hate is ridiculous

  6. The lakers have more wins with out him then with him this season lmao if he don’t have all stars and young top 5 players he can’t win unless it’s the time the East was trash

  7. The lakers are better without him I bet you they’ll win more and the ball will move and the defense will improve because they don’t have to cover for he’s bad defense and ball hog and he’s 0-7 3 point shots it’s air balls or nothing but glass.

  8. The hilarious thing is: as bad as the Lakers have been during the LeBron years, they won more championships than the Clippers, Nuggets, Suns, Jazz, Nets, Hornets, Pacers, Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Pelicans, Magic and Kings have won in their ENTIRE existences COMBINED.

  9. Rob,you're right! And the reason James is not affecting winning is because since he's been a laker he doesn't command the attention he once did. Teams are not having to focus on him, double him and so they can keep everyone else covered.
Before if you did that James would go for 45. Now they can just let him score and that's why he's still averaging 28-30.
Then role players can't get what they would get before. That's what Lakers see and why they understand getting more role players won't change things.

  10. The reason Lakers have won as little/much this season is because of LeBron? Not sure that is objective analysis. It completely ignores that their little run after an abysmal start was due to AD stepping up. Lakers fans were even chanting MVP for AD. Not LeBron.

  11. He doesn’t have a no trade clause. They will be terrible without him. We are discussing a 38 year old player. Of course, he doesn’t affect winning like he use to. Context is always missing in these idiotic arguments. They won a championship in 2020. AD, who is in his prime and the corner piece, has been injured the past 2 years. The fact is they have been injured mostly the pass 2 years. Rob is just a hater and Westbrook is washed.

  12. This is LeBron without two other PRIME Top 10 All-Stars. Statpadding on a bad team. He had to jump from team to team like a SugarBaby because he doesn't actually make teammates better- just dependent.
