A mare would act like that particularly if there is a foal involved. It wasn’t mentioned if she had signs of having a foal.
I really miss being around horses so much. We moved down south from Chadds Ford, PA where we were surrounded by equestrian farms, and visited horses almost daily. Now there is one equestrian center near us and it's a pay to play outfits for only the richest. Back home you could just talk to the owners and never once did they say no to visitors. We even offered to volunteer to clean stalls and brush them but were refused.
How come the stalls and corral are so dirty and muddy? It gets on the horses, and that can't be comfortable for them. Why not put them out in the grassy fields.
SCOTT❕❗️
My gosh, Scott (from O.A.T.S.) you’re a HERO.
This is making me cry. I live in Seattle, WA. My older sister (passed 7yrs ago) was physically and mentally developmentally delayed and animals (also babies) were a tremendous joy for her. Many people, with their babies, would be scared of her. For example, in the grocery store, my sister would try to reach out and say hi but mom’s with their kids would pull away, undoubtedly crushing her a bit every time… just like how the kids at school, and everywhere in life, would treat her.
This program and Men like Scott gave JOY, true, pure, undeniable, reliably kind, meaningful, experiences for her.
I can’t even finish typing this, I miss her and this is hard to talk about, but thank you (ANYONE) who’s kind to people with disabilities.
It means the world.
The absolute world.
❤
Thank you to all who had a part in taking care of Grace, She is beautiful.
Have a great life grace. Thank you everyone that helped her
Are there any updates to this? I'd love to see more Grace videos.
Great story. Wondering if she needs teeth floated. Thank you for caring for her.
Pardon my french, but goddamnit is that nice to see! What a wonderful story of second chances! So thankful to see people like this allowing these beasts to be as they are!
Take halter off her. Did you give her apples as well as carrots? What about honey & bread? Glad she got better. Will her tail grow longer?
😮❤🥰🤩✨💫❣️🫶
It's a shame you didn't keep her it's a shame when people get animals and then the animals start getting used to being someplace and then they're taking someplace else I wouldn't like that at all I know you were there to help her but you should have kept her
Of course she was nervous she just started getting used to where she was at now you're going to take her someplace else I don't understand we should pass humans off like that but we just passed humans around like they do animals I know you're doing it for her own good and she may be going to a good place I don't mean any disrespect but it's just like passing the buckets passing the animals along when we pass them human beings along with passing the hell cuz that's where they belong a lot of human beings belong in hell and I just think it's wrong for someone to get an animal rescue an animal and then get rid of it she was starting to get used to being there now you're going to take her someplace else it's like being in foster care being passed down from one person to another😢😢😢😮
She's beautiful❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Even decent people sometimes prefer to distort language, in a way that confuses FACTS. This is NOT a "Rescue Horse" that perhaps pulls an ambulance wagon. This is a fortunate horse that WAS RESCUED. FACTS Aren't So Difficult. ENJOY!
my shire didnt really care for humans until I showed up. She was a horse i would have normally passed on, being very dominant but she made her choice and eventually I was able to convince the owners to sell her to me.
I really like the OATS rescue that helps people. Talk about something I'd love to do. Sounds great, thanks again for another really inspiring video.
Lovely story thank you for sharing ❤❤❤so happy Grace has come into her own ❤❤❤
My niece had to have therapy with horses. Juvenile Arthritis. It worked wonders. I hope Grace has a great life helping kids. Grace is so beautiful and seems very gentle.♥️👍
You are a special group of people, thank you for everything you do for horses ❤️🐎
Poor baby
What a wonderful story!!! Thanks for all that you do for sweethearts like Grace!!! You are truly taking care of and nurturing God’s greatest creatures. God Bless You and God Bless Sweet Grace!!!❤❤❤
Maybe Grace knew Scott was the next adventure and that's who she was looking for initially. Animals know stuff before we do so often. It was a pleasure to hear Grace has come in contact with some good folk and she also now has a forever home. That is something we all deserve and look for all our lives. Blessing to all who made Grace's journey loving and comfortable for her.
everyone just wants to BE loved
Such a beautiful horse. Have to give her time . New people, new place, new animals around . ❤❤❤❤❤
Gorgeous ❤
Loveley Grace ❤🐎❤
God bless you people x
Why aren't these owners charged?
♥️❤️❤️♥️❤️♥️ too everyone who helped Grace. 😀✌️👍
THANK YOU, FOR LOVING AND CARING FOR BEAUTIFUL GRACE. ❤💯
So grace does not get to retire . what happens if she does not fit in slaughter auction?
Grace is home!
i can tell everyone grace is so sweet!!! i love working with her at OATS!
WHERE IS HER TAIL..NO WONDER SHES UNHAPPY!
I feel so bad for these draft horses. Many come from the Amish communities after they can no longer work and are of no use to their farm work. Horses are not pets to the Amish and when they are no longer useful they are discarded.
Poor Grace she finally had horse friends and was thriving……. then to be uprooted AGAIN and losing her friends and happy place 😢😢😢😢😢
Sweet horse, sweet people! Why is her tail so short?
Literally just leave her a couple apples on the ground and walk away and she will eat them right away. Try and feed her pellets and other bs by hand with a camera in her face and she is going to be skittish. Sometimes I think this is all clickbait bs bc anyone that knows animals should already know this.
