He was clearly 'holding' onto the defender. I think the problem is more the inconsistency of the call. You rarely see it called when a blocker grabs the defender inside like that, so everyone just assumes it's a legal block.

I began noticing this Ref Bogar years ago and he's a cluster F. Anytime he is the lead ref you'll see the worst reffing possible. Has to be a quota hire he's not that good.

Anytime jerome is reffing a game I’ll just find another game. Guy is one of/if not the most incompetent refs in the sport. The fact I’ve known he’s this bad for what 10+ years is hilarious and bad. Guy should have no business being a ref still.

To me, this proves the nfl needs to completely overhaul and redefine holding rules. The existing definition in the rule book doesn’t match reality and that is why people are so upset.
