One thing you briefly talked about pisses me off. The damn politicians have taken OUR money to build themselves a massive fallout shelter for themselves and probably their families as well. Even though we paid for it, it's for them, not us. Every city should have an equally equipped shelter, PERIOD!!

Hello, I'm based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria, UK, which is down the coast from Sellafeild the majority of our Town either work there or for BAE Nuclear Submarine Yard based in Barrow, where Nuclear Pills are stored for the latest Submarines ready to leave on Trials.
We have regular leaks & safety issues from Sellafeild … BUT …. it is always reported locally & none of our usual contacts have any information on this .. BUT … they are reporting on a suspected incident involving a suspicious device to which the MOD sent in Bomb Squad to deal with and arrested a male in his early 40s, no other details as yet. This happened on the day before you reported this, it happened in the Town next to Barrow called Ulverston, in Steel Street.
We have armed MOD patrols in our area constantly BUT no more than usual at this present time.
Sellafeild, BAE & Heysham Power Station are situated all around Cumbria, if any news comes forward, I will update as I have emailed Local Press & Authorities.
