4. The reason why you were making the gap jump consistently one that one Mushroom Gorge race is because you had miniturbo charged up when going for the gap jump. Even when you use a mushroom when going for gap jump, if you don't have a miniturbo charged up, you aren't going to get enough distance to make the gap jump on 150cc. On 200cc, you'll probably still make it but you'll get a weird landing and lose some time.

   An easy way to do make it on 150cc is trying to skip the last red mushroom. Skipping the last red mushroom makes it easier to get a miniturbo charged up. I think it's quite hard to skip the red last red mushroom if you don't know the super bounce tech (don't quote me on that because I don't remember if it actually is). From there, try to cut off at least half the gap, if you cut off less, you probably won't make it.

   An easy way to make it on 200cc is to drift off the red mushroom. This unsurprisingly makes it easier to get a miniturbo charged up and makes going for the fence version of the gap jump even easier because if you trick off the red mushroom it's not only gonna be way more difficult to get a miniturbo charged up, you won't be able to go tight enough to go for the fence method.

   Certain combos have an easier time of making the gap jump while others have a harder time because there's a actually a secret miniturbo stat in this game. The way to know what your miniturbo stat is, is to look at your acceleration stat because that and the miniturbo stat are always the same.
