A fun fact about Ego is that for most of the movie he is very thin to the point he looks sickly because he typically takes one or two bites and makes a judgement(such as in his intro scene pushing away a full plate). But in the last scene you can see he looks more plump and less gaunt, at least in the face. Meaning, he's been eating a lot of Remy's food in full.

The rat that carried the plague is called the rattus rattus – or black rat, while the other type of rat which is the ancestor of pet rats and which doesn't carry the disease is called rattus norwegicus, the brown rat (not necessarily brown coloured, but bigger than the black rat). I'd say he is a brown rat, based by his size in relation to the human, also his general friendliness – black rats are less friendly

  25. Dylan i have a suggestion, you should watch (full series) Only Murders in a building starring Selena Gomez and two other old people, (idk their names). It's like a murder mystery show, i liked it but some portions were like umm… Wth is this!?! I think you'd enjoy it. Love the vids!!! Thanks for entertaining me for these past couple of months. I've just recently started a marathon, watching all the commentaries.

  26. If you have to know one thing about Paris is that there are a lot of rats in this city. Like A LOT. For 1 Parisian, there are 3 rats. And yes, Paris is a small city with many inhabitants. Just go to the Eiffel tower by night, the romantic walk can quickly turn into a Survivor episode 😂😂

  29. To be fair, Remi (the rat) by having an amazing scent probably has no desease cause he knows how to avoid them.
    I agree with that the love aspect of the film is the weakest element of it
