QuasiLive: Roadside Rescue for Kevin's ADV150

Kevin is headed down from Austin, TX, for my Quasi Saturday Night Live tonight. Unfortunately, he only made it halfway to Katy, TX, before his ADV150 ate its CVT belt. I’m driving 75 miles to go rescue him on the side of the road!

  1. for the people in the stream that ask why they go thru belts – they do because theyre encased they get quite warm at highway speeds – if you were doing back and forth mini miles it wouldnt happen – prolonged does it to them – if they were outside like a harley then they wouldnt – the bmw f series that run belts its 25k miles a change

  2. I have a backup belt under the seat of my Adv 150. My belt still looks good. Only problem I've had is the rear cvt seems to be a bit rumbly. Done it ever since the first day. I'm almost at 4k miles on it now. The last 1k miles have been from making 150mile runs at about 60mph. 😬. Saving me a fortune instead of driving my truck. Completely my favorite to jump around town.
