The nurse wage numbers they talk about are complete bullshit . I've been a nurse 9 years and earn £32000 base salary. When they say these 37000 salary they include nights shifts pay weekend pay and nurses in specialist and management roles. A nurse working in a normal role for 10 years should be on more than the average wage, they already hold lives in their hands they shouldn't have to do extra just to get an uk average income !!!!!!

Saying NHS nurses deserve more money but shouldn't go on strike, and then blaming NHS backlogs on lockdowns rather than a sustained, decades long erosion and underfunding of the service should make Mr Wallis Simons's position incredibly clear.
In a few years we will be crowdfunding for people's cancer treatments as they do in the USA.
