See the 65 foot long layout at:
Chester Cathedral from 26-JUL-2023 until 02-AUG-2023.
Great Electric Train Show (Milton Keynes) 15-16 OCT 2023.

In this full bumper episode:
– Pete researches a mystery container
– Aron sets new standards for catenary work
– Milton Keynes Model Railway Club visit
– More tea break goings on
– Car painting update from Chris
– Phil tests the colour lights
– Dave paints baseboards
– Some O Gauge movements as Andy has a play
– On site testing (Cheshire Lines) of the RFID reader to station announcement boards

For the departure board test we have:
2 x System2 RFID readers on track detecting the trains
1 x System2 RFID display aggregating and displaying the TAG ID’s.
1 x Arduino Uno + CAN shield. This reads the CAN bus and extracts the vPort data from System2
and transfers it to the departure board via serial port.
The spreadsheet database is uploaded to the departure board (it runs on a Raspberry Pi internally) which displays the train information according to the rules defined within the spreadsheet.
