  1. I’ve heard of a Fish Parasite called the Tongue Eating Louse!

A Tongue Eating Louse is a species of Isopod that it enters the fishes mouth through to gills. Then, It sucks the blood out of the fishes tongue so it falls off. The parasite acts like the fishes tongue and I believe it feeds off blood and mucus. The parasite with stay in the fish until it dies than, it will find a new victim. I believe they live in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.Tongue Eating Louses usually don’t do a lot of to fish but they can reproduce and grow so big that it will cause the fish to have trouble breathing and swallowing.

NOTE: Tongue Eating Louses DON’T INFECT HUMANS
