It's very hard to get good sleep in a nursing home because of noise, being checked on, the loss of cicadium rhythm because you are inside so much- day and night seem the same. She may have been in a deep sleep from not sleeping well so long. She seemed bright and alert when she woke up, so hoping your mom is okay and was just extremely tired.So sweet to see the way she and Buddy interact. ❤
My mum does that on occasion as well as she has had dementia for several years. It IS really scary when they don't respond like that. Her doctor said that is not uncommon for Alzheimer's and dementia patients. I held my breath for you and Pal !!! Glad everything turned out okay and she looked like she was quite perky when she did wake up !!❤
I heard the concern in your voice & Pal was also concerned. You did the right thing by going to the nurse. I was worried also. I am so glad she was ok, when she work up. She was doing good & she knew you & Pal. It turned out end to be a super awesome visit. Luv your all Pal, your Mom & you!!!❤❤❤!!

Been there done that for my in laws and mother. I would check her medication levels to ensure she is not being given too mucb of something.
