  1. Horses can carry 110kg total – including your character body weight. That's why you can't mount Hemlock even after getting your own encumbrance down to 15 kg – the total weight carried by horse didn't change.

  2. You were correct with worst assumption. This is walking dead game reference and those were cannibals. Brenda, Andy and Danny are the family of cannibals, who were killed by survivors. Danny pierced by a pitchfork. Andy pushed into electrified barbed wire and Brenda bitten by a person who's legs she prepared for dinner, yes, Mark. And brainless one had a heart attack, so they smashed his head with saltlick, so he wouldn't rise as zombie.

  3. As other comments have pointed out, the whole St. John Dairy Farm is a reference to Ep 2 of the first 'season' of TellTale Games Walking Dead. Though it wouldn't be a thematic fit for the channel necessarily, the games are pretty good and worth your time to play if you don't mind a predominantly narrative experience. It's a step above most visual novels but definitely below your average RPG.

  4. Animal can only carry 20% of its total weigh without specific setting, which is 110kg with a horse, that is never enough for a battle ready charactor. And horse also have fear so they can't move toward any enemy and will stand still waiting for dead if it get surrounded with a rider. Basically horse have been nerf to a point that it is only good to pull cart now.
    In my last try to play as cavalry I have to edit the json to change horse weigh limit to 30% (by add a line "mountable_weight_ratio": 0.3, to the json) to carry my character. And delete "PLAYER_CLOSE" from "fear_triggers" and delete "SEES" from "flags" so the horse can run by a monster, can't say it is a good idea.

  5. Wasn't there a yoke and harness you could make use of back at the other barn? Maybe you could make some kind of makeshift vehicle to ride on? Idk if its possible but it would be cool if you could make a chariot with 2 horses pulling you along into battle 🙂

  6. Might've already worked this out, but with multiple horses and fodder/harnesses being available, you could probably divide your packs between the others, and ride hemlock without any pack? That ought to keep the total weight any one horse is carrying well below their weight limit.

  7. Loving all these episodes Rycon. As a currently serving member, I always like games that allow me to be remnant forces. I cant wait to see how this one turns out.

    I am hoping one day you attempt the Hunted – Close Encounter challenge.

    The challenge is complete when you kill and pulp the hunter and then reach safety – what ever that might mean. The Hunter is a big time buffed zombie hulk that's fast, always knows where you are, has the ability to smash through reinforced concrete, and has ludicrous regeneration. You start severely wounded, in immense pain, in a burning building, and surrounded by zombies. And the hulk comes for you after about 22 hours in game, so you don't even have a day.
